Wow! That is such great news for your wife! Cancer is such a horrible adversary. I know someone personally going through Stage 4 Renal cancer right now and it is hard to watch him fade away. He's a fighter, so he is still fighting, but the jovial wonderful person we all know and love is being taken from us too early, and it sucks.
There are so many things to be grateful for these days... health, being able to continue to work, and work from home, through these times. Of course family and friends.
But outside of the obvious things to be grateful for, I am going to throw in a wierd one. I am grateful for PlexCoin.
You see, I really knew nothing about Crypto prior to seeing Facebook Sponsored adds for Plexcoin in the summer of 2017. I have HEARD OF Bitcoin, but never gave it much credit. Odd take for someone who had spent the better part of a decade trying to catch the next big get rich quick idea, but there I was. I decided to check out PlexCoin and even sent in $100 to buy in. Of course that one was a scam, in fact there is an article that was posted just yesterday about the founders being indicted.
But without PlexCoin and trying to research it, and other crypto, I never would have found Crypto in general, or STEEM in particular. The value of my portfolio, even having lost 90% of it's value because I bought so much during the bull run and rode the tokens all the way down, is still higher than the cash I put in, so that $100 has been repaid to me from other tokens I invested in, and the time investment in STEEM that has allowed me to use the profits from my intellectual work to buy tokens.
So as a trigger to open up the greater world of Crypto, I am grateful for the scam that was PlexCoin.
