Simple Living: The Secret of Dealing with Life's Challenges
We all have our own personal styles for coping when time gets tough. Some people work harder, and some find comfort in alcohol or drugs to make it through the day. My personal style is that I just try to take life simply, and enjoy the small wins.
If you are like most people, you are trying to find ways to simplify your life and many of us are trying to do this by either reducing the amount of work we do or simply trying to live differently, by removing some of the stress in our lives.
In day-to-day situations, we are all trying to create better lives for ourselves, which in turn makes our lives easier for us. For some of us it's either we are trying to change our careers to create opportunities, or trying to find some less time-consuming lifestyle changes and hobbies.
I am attempting to simplify my life, simplifying the way I engage with people, how I exercise, and even how I plan my days. Sometimes life can be heavy and you'll find yourself asking what you can do to enhance your life.
Simplistic life can be a good life. I believe, simple can be the basis for memories. The creation of memories and the ability to create opportunities to share those memories is two of the things life is most important for.
I remember Timaya's song, "I can't kill myself". The song tells the truth of the depth of pain he has lived through, revealing the real-world experiences that some live through.
Life isn't clear-cut. Each day throws its own hard tests. They can be tough to face. Many of us see that fighting through it is truly tough. No rest; up early, working to make ends meet.
If we can find the little positive things to appreciate in life, these things will make life more manageable. Just because our existence is difficult does not mean we cannot enjoy life. Discovering simple moments that we can enjoy with people that are important to us will deliver happiness and bring satisfaction.
Part of simplifying my life is to follow a simple routine. I wake up every morning at 6 am. and go for a walkout - unless of course, I did not sleep the previous night.
I enjoy working out, the cold conditions, and deep thinking; because, when I work out I can think clearer. More than that, I appreciate the satisfaction of exercising the body daily.
My life is easy and simple. I don't get worked up about not having a fixed job, cash, or stuff like that. Each day, I open my eyes, I am glad to just be alive. Even though I may not own all I need, I'm okay with what I've got.
You can start a simple routine too. Start a new habit to replace a bad one. Get a pet. Start saving money. Move to a simpler place. Buy less stuff. Find new ways to spend your time and enjoy the simple things in life to make life easier for yourself.
You cannot kill yourself over what you don't have. Life is hard enough; don't make it harder trying to puzzle it all. Start living a simple life and you will quickly realize you can have an enjoyable fulfilling life without having all things that are in this world.
