So me and Mary were in a hurry because we might be late in our class on CCS, so we waited for a cab and hopped on it because we were running late. And as you know, our classroom is so far we have to ride a tricycle to get into the station, and from the station we rode a motorcycle to get to the bridge, and let me tell you, the fee for those rides is not cheap at all. So we walked into the bridge and walked a little further to get to our classroom.
When we arrived, there were few people who had arrived. After we logged in, we went to our respective seats, and I'm in the front row. We waited for a while for our other classmates to arrive. After that, our mentor/instructor started his lecture, and he gave us an activity as a group. It's a penoy henyo game, but in English, and he gives us 15 minutes to discuss with our teammates on what topic we want our category to be. Each team has to choose two players in their team who will represent their team in the game. And each representative of each team has one chance to play the game, and the time limit is 1 minute to guess the answer. My teammates and I chose the fruits, and the fruit that we picked is the Kiwi. And we also choose who will guess the answer and the other person who helps the other person by answering yes, no, and maybe. And thank God it was not me, because if it's me, I will be blanked out in front of the pressure. So we decided that Ate Kizel and Ate Maxine will be the players for our team. After 15 minutes, our instructor told us that the sequence on our game will be based on spinning the wheel. He puts our group number on a wheel on a website and spins it.
So our instructor spins the wheel, and the first one to play was our team, and the category that we would guess is the group 2 category. After that, our representative stood in the front, and their category was placed in Cebu, and the answer is Ayala Mall Cebu. And our instructor started the timer; we were nervous and excited if she could guess the answer, and she guessed it! Hahahaha, we were so happy and in awe because she guessed it right despite her nervousness and the pressure.
Then our instructor spins the wheel again, and the next team is group 2, and the category that they would guess is group 3. And the same cycle, and their category is part of the body, and it's the least you would guess; it's the bone marrow; it's so hard that group 2 did not guess it. After that, our instructor said to the group 3 that their category is so difficult that even he wouldn't guess it, and the one who have to guess it said that the group 2 will take revenge on the group 3, and we laughed it out and continued to our game.
So it's group 3 turns, and the category that they will guess is group 4 category. And the group's 4 category is things, and the answer is keyboard; unfortunately, they couldn't guess it. I think it's because of the pressure and nervousness; that's why they couldn't guess it.
And it's group 4 turns, and they would guess our category and its food, and the answer is Kiwi; unfortunately, they also couldn't guess it. So we were the only ones who guessed it, but nevertheless we had fun throughout the game even if the others didn't guess it.
After that game, our instructor gave us a pre-test to test our knowledge of the course. After we finished answering, we went to the front of the classroom, and we took a group photo with the name of the company. After that, we went back inside, and he started his lesson again. Around 11 am, he finished his lesson, and we were good to go.
Me and Mary and some of our classmates walked up until the other side of the bridge, and we parted ways. After that, I arrived at our house, ate, and went back to sleep because I was so sleepy, and I still have a class at 4 pm. Around 3 pm, I woke up to freshen up to get ready to go to school, and after that, I went there. I arrived at my room still sleepy, and I went to my seat and waited for our professor to come. My first subject is FOLA; it's a language subject, and the language that we study is the Japanese language, or Nihongo. A while later, our professor arrived and grouped us into 5 because she prepared a grouped activity for us. I'm in group 2, and when I met my group mates, I was relieved because they consisted of bright individuals. After we gathered, our professor told us what the activity was all about, and she said that she would say something in Nihongo, or Japanese, and we would construct it with the card that she would give us. And the cards consist of vowel letters of nihonggo, or the a, i, u,, e, and o in the Japanese language, and we will construct the words that she will say. And the first group to achieve 15 points will be the winner. After that, she gave us 10 minutes to construct a strategy with our group mates, and me and my group mates decided to arrange the cards in the table according to the vowel letters.
Then the game begins; me and my group mates were so quiet while the other groups were so chaotic, and that's what makes it so funny. I think the reason why our group was so quiet is because we arranged our cards, and that's why it was so easy to find the letters. After that game, we won, and we were dismissed. Our supposed next subject announced that she will not have class today and also our last class. That's why we decided to go home. And that's it! That was my day; it was so full of fun even though it was tiring because from the morning till the evening I have classes, but I felt so fulfilled and happy at the end of the day.
