Greetings friends of Hive and the community Architecture+Design. I'm back to continue showing you the VIVA Shopping Mall, which is located on Carrera 81 in Medellín. This time I'm going to show you the inside of this shopping center because I already showed you the outside in the previous post. So let's take a look inside this VIVA Shopping Center.
Saludos amigos de Hive y de la comunidad Architecture+Design. Estoy de regreso para continuar mostrandoles el Centro Comercial VIVA, que está en la carrera 81 en Medellín. Esta vez voy a mostrar el interior de este centro comercial porque ya les mostré el exterior en la publición anterior. Entonces pasemos a ver un poco este Centro Comercial VIVA por dentro.
This shopping center has one floor although in the basement there are also spaces for stores and other services, it has two parking areas, one is in the basement and the other on the rooftop. Well, for being small this VIVA in Laureles has a lot of variety and beauty inside. I like it because I can practically get everything I need, seriously, clothes, technology, food, ice cream, fun, medicine, ornaments, supermarket. I know that this is normal in all shopping malls but this one is so small that the truth is, well I say small because it is what you think of a one-story mall but I am amazed by the division and distribution of spaces because they are well used.
Este centro comercial tiene una planta aunque en el sotano también hay espacios destinados para tiendas y otros servicios, tiene dos zonas para parqueadero una está en el sotano y otra en la azotea. Bueno, para ser pequeño este VIVA en Laureles tiene mucha variedad y belleza en su interior. Me gusta porque practicamente consigo todo lo que necesito, es en serio, ropa, técnología, comida, helados, diversión, medicinas, adornos, supermercado. Yo sé que eso es normal en todos los centros comerciales pero es que este es tan pequeño que la verdad, bueno yo le digo pequeño porque es lo que se piensa de un centro comercial de una planta pero yo me asombro por la división y distribución de los espacios porque están bien aprovechados.
I like the ceiling, I always look at the ceiling and also at the floor, for me they are important elements in the interior design of a building, likewise the lighting and in this mall the lamps used are a very decorative resource as you can see and of course functional, that is my perfect combination because I like places to have a lot of lighting.
El techo me gusta, siempre me fijo en el techo y también en el piso, para mí son elementos importantes en el diseño interior de un edificio, igualmente la iluminación y en este centro comercial las lámparas que se usan son un recurso bastante decorativo como ven y por supuesto funcional, esa es mi combinación perfecta porque me gusta que los lugares tengan mucha iluminación.
The stairs and automatic ramps take you to the basement and rooftop of the VIVA Laureles Shopping Center and I went up to the rooftop to see the area above.
Las escaleras y rampas automáticas te llevan al sotano y a la azotea del Centro Comercial VIVA Laureles y subí a la azotea para ver esa área de arriba.
I show you the rooftop parking lot. This mall has a lot of parking space because it has parking in the basement and on the rooftop. By the way the parking area in VIVA Laureles has capacity for more than a thousand vehicles including electric cars, motorcycles and bicycles, I think it has plenty of space for parking and I like the design and distribution of this area because they thought well in the comfort for visitors and their vehicles that have covered walkways.
Les muestro el parqueadero de la azotea. Este centro comercial tiene mucho espacio para parquear porque tiene parqueadero en el sótano y en la azotea. Por cierto la zona de parqueo en el VIVA Laureles tiene capacidad para más de mil vehículos contando con los carros electricos, las motos y bicicletas, creo que tiene mucho espacio para parqueo y me gusta el diseño y distribución de esta zona porque pensaron bien en la comodidad para los visitantes y sus vehículos que cuentan con andenes techados.
This parking lot is quite spacious, the entrance to the vehicles is also spacious, the truth is that architecturally I really like this parking lot that is on a rooftop.
Bastante espacioso este parqueadero, la entrada a los veheculos también tiene amplitud, la verdad es que arquitectónicamente me gusta mucho este parqueadero que está en una azotea.
We go to the basement to look at the parking lot, but there are also stores in addition to the subway parking, as you can see in the planning of VIVA Laureles they thought of taking advantage of all the spaces, that is an excellent planning, because the more stores, the more services, all these are more advantages offered by the mall to visitors.
Vamos al sótano a mirar el parqueadero pero también hay tiendas además del parqueadero subterráneo, como ven en la planificación del VIVA Laureles se pensó en aprovechar muy bien todos los espacios, eso es una excelente planificación, porque a más cantidad de tiendas, más servicios, todo eso son más ventajas que ofrece el centro comercial a los visitantes.
Taking advantage that we are in the basement I show you the parking area in the basement, as you can see it started to rain outside and visitors will choose to park in the basement :)
Aprovechando que estamos en el sótano les muestro la zona de parqueo en el subterráneo, como ven empezó una lluvia afuera y los visitantes eligiran parquear en el sótano :)

Ya fui al sotano, fui a la azotea y estoy de vuelta en el primer piso.

I'm on my way out and I also show you this other car, a Kia Sportage on promotion at the main entrance and exit to Av. 80 of the VIVA Laureles Shopping Center and I also say goodbye to the Kia because I'm still dreaming of a Lamborghini 😁
