I recently read the book "A Path with Heart" by Jack Kornfield. Well, first let me say I didn't actually read the text, but I listened to it as an audiobook through the Libby app and it was phenomenal! It is a great read for those that want an in-between from their busy life styles and dedicating your life to meditation.

What the book is mostly about is being passionate with yourself and how to practice mindfulness. In this busy world, it's so difficult to be present, and this book teaches us that simple meditation allows us to be present in the world. It also taught me that it is okay if your mind drifts while your meditating, the key is to just be aware of that, and just bring yourself back to the present.
One other thing in the book that I found fascinating, is that if you find yourself drifting into thought while meditating, hold onto that thought and focus on it, because that is also meditation.
The book as caused me to become curious into Buddhism, and I have also just finished the Bhagavad-Gita, as well as numerous readings on mindfulness practices.
Due to this book, I have been using these practices continuously and it has helped me personally and professionally.
I will be listening to this book again, and I highly suggest others to also listen to it.
