Hello HIVE friends. Meet again in this community. Tonight I will share a simple recipe that I made a few days ago using boiled bananas that we didn't finish eating and I kept in the freezer. However, after storing it in the freezer, I no longer had the appetite to eat it, so I took the initiative to process this banana into a simple pancake for an afternoon meal when I got home from work.
I have made preparations from this banana several times but still in all the recipes that I present there are different ingredients. This is so that I can compare the taste and at the same time to test whether the new ingredients that I mixed can be combined with the main ingredients that are used. I present it, for this it takes courage, at least for me to consume it myself with my husband as the judge, then when I finish the trial I can be confident to share it with other people around me..he..he
The ingredients I need to make these simple pancakes are:
1. I have frozen about 10 boiled bananas (you can use fresh, ripe bananas, friends and without boiling them first)
2. 250 grams of oatmeal
3. Grated coconut from ½ coconut
4. Granulated sugar (I use this granulated sugar to make powdered sugar as a topping. Later, if you have a supply of refined sugar, you can skip this ingredient. And when I used this granulated sugar I only blended 1 tablespoon and that was too much
And the way I make these banana pancakes is:
1. The first thing I did was peel the frozen boiled banana. And this took a little while because the skin was already attached to the flesh, so I had to be careful peeling the banana and because I had just taken the banana out of the freezer, my hands became numb to peeling it and finally I managed to peel the whole banana.
2. After I managed to peel all the bananas, I softened them using a cup, then I added the grated coconut first
3. After that, the last ingredient to enter is oatmeal. Stir all the ingredients until smooth without any lumps or unmixed ingredients.
4. And after all the ingredients were evenly mixed, I heated the Teflon with a little olive oil.
5. Once the Teflon is hot, I add the banana mixture over low heat
6. Then close the Teflon and you can adjust the level of doneness according to what you want.
7. And if you see my pancakes are a little burnt on the surface, but apparently this level of doneness is just right because the inside is perfectly cooked, maybe because I used oatmeal without flour so it's like that.
8. After the pancakes were ready, I sprinkled them with granulated sugar which I had ground first.
The taste of these pancakes is beyond my expectations, because they are delicious and the dough is not too sweet because they don't use granulated sugar, but if you think these pancakes don't have taste, you are very wrong, because the sweet banana taste really dominates. So this mixture can be said to be successful, but to serve it to guests I have to perfect my recipe again.
