The cooking process as follows.
Now, let's begin making it!
First, take a mixing bowl and add rice flour, chickpea flour, finely chopped curry leaves, chili powder, a pinch of salt, cumin seeds, and turmeric powder. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until they are well combined.
Next, gradually add water, little by little, while continuously mixing to form a smooth and thick batter with the right consistency.
Now, take the prepared batter and transfer it into a piping bag. Then, cut a small opening at the tip of the piping bag to shape the murukku properly.
Now, add coconut oil to a pan and place it on the stove. Once the oil is heated, pipe the batter into the hot oil as shown in the images below. Fry until the murukku turns golden brown, ensuring even cooking.
Now, your homemade murukku is ready! This crispy, golden-brown traditional snack is not only delicious but also easy to prepare. With its crunchy texture and perfect blend of spices, murukku is an ideal treat for any occasion. Try making it at home and enjoy it with a warm cup of tea.
That’s it for today! Have a wonderful day, everyone! 😊
