Hello dear hivers and lovers of delicious loafs .
Todays morning started with stormy weather and suddenly it started to rain βοΈ. It was raining heavily for hours that I had the urge to bake a bread and not just an ordinary bread, but one that has flavors and delicious. And what could be better than a butterscotch extract and raisins combination in a loaf π₯.
I donβt know why, but rainy days seem to make me want to enjoy freshly baked bread π₯with some hot cup of tea. Maybe due to how the baking keeps the kitchen very warm with delicious flavorful aromas. Or maybe I like the warmth of the kitchen on a rainy day. Haha π.
Butterscotch is one extract and flavor I love so much and have been looking out for always while going grocery, and raisins in bread is another delightful ingredient that brings out the beauty of a bread. And this very recipe turned out so good especially with lightly browning the loaf π₯. Its simple, straightforward and one recipe you will enjoy.
Come with me as I take you through every step of this recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
350 g of all purpose flour
4 tablespoons of premium sugar
11/2 teaspoon of dry yeast
3 teaspoons of butterscotch extract
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of raisins
2 teaspoons of vegetable oil
EXTRA INGREDIENT:
1/2 glass cup of water
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.
Its a simple and straightforward recipe, so we start by taking the flour into a larger bowl for mixing.
Step 2.
Then we add the dried ingredients. The sugar, salt and yeast as above.
We stir in to incorporate all together
Step 3.
We add our butterscotch here above.
And the raisins too and stir.
Step 4.
To make our dough we add water little by little, stirring.
As here above.
Step 5.
To make a fine finished dough, we add our vegetable oil as above.
Step 6.
We cut our finished dough into two here above, mold into a straight curve strip.
Then we place them on a glazed baking pan as above.
With some raisins dropped on the top for decoration.
Step 7.
We cover in a warm place to increase in size for 20 minutes.
Next we take it to the oven to bake for 15 - 20 minutes To obtain a delicious brown crusty and soft bread π₯.
This bread is perfectly crusty on top but very soft all around and inside. There is nothing like a freshly baked brown bread on a rainy day being enjoyed with a cup of coffee or tea. A recipe you will enjoy making even when there is no rain βοΈ.
Make this butterscotch raisins loaf with just few ingredients or in your own version of any flavor, but this butterscotch extract is one extract you will love.
