Hello hive friends in this group. I hope we are all well and healthy. Currently, I often feel hungry during the day, when I'm hungry, I feel like going out to buy snacks outside the house. I think that if I keep buying snacks outside, it will definitely cost a lot of money, so it's a bit wasteful. Besides being wasteful, food sold outside is definitely not healthy. Even though it tastes good. So, I decided to make my own sponge cake made from bananas harvested from my own garden that have been in the refrigerator for a long time.
Okay, so I won't have to wait too long, so I'll list some of the ingredients needed to make this banana cake.
1. 6 bananas
2. 1 sachet of cocoa powder
3. About ¼ kg of flour
4. 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
5. A little margarine
6. 200 grams of sliced palm sugar
7. 1 small glass of clean water.
Now let's try making it, and here's how:
1. Clean and peel the bananas, then place them in a bowl.
2. Then, I mash or puree them with a spoon until they are smooth.
3. Once smooth, I mix the bananas with the margarine I prepared earlier.
4. I also mix in the sliced palm sugar. If you don't like it sweet, you can omit the sugar, as the bananas are already sweet.
5. Then, I mix in the prepared cornstarch.
6. Don't forget to mix in the wheat flour as well.
7. Finally, I gradually add water to the mixture.
8. I stir with a spoon until the mixture is even and elastic.
9. This mixture is ready to bake.
10. Before baking, clean the baking pan and line it with baking paper to prevent sticking.
11. Place the dough in a baking dish and spread it evenly.
12. We'll bake for just 30 minutes so the cake will be a little firmer.
13. Once the cake is cooked, remove it and let it cool for a while before cutting it and tasting it.
14. This is what my cake looks like. After tasting it, I found it to be delicious, perfect for an afternoon snack with a cup of coffee.
Thank you for reading my recipe. I hope it inspires you all. This is all because I love to eat and am always hungry, just wanting to eat. Greetings from Tomi Diwirja from Medan, Indonesia. Have a nice day.
