Share Your Reflections On The Following Quote - "Ecology and spirituality are fundamentally connected, because deep ecological awareness, ultimately, is spiritual awareness."
-Fritjof Capra
This week, the Biweekly Question was a little different, asking you to reflect on a quote, a quote that intertwined Deep Ecology and Spirituality. The responses were excellent, with each creator sharing their reflection and the connection that exists between them both.
In order to connect with our spirituality, we need to connect with ourselves, to journey deep so that we see ourselves as a part of the collective whole. Which is what Deep Ecology is about, self refĺection which leads us to the understanding, that we are not separate from nature, that we hold the wild within.
We have so much to learn from one another. So it is important to provide opportunities, in which we can share our experiences and create better understanding as we move forward. This question provided just that.
We had 7 answers in total and in the spirit of Abundance one of those writers will receive 20% of the payout of this post. This week it goes to @holisticmom.Thank you to all the wonderful content creators who took the time to share their thoughts on this wonderful topic.
Relationship between spirituality and ecology

@iyimoga
Spirituality is a base where the ecology is built on and also the ecology is also a base where spirituality is also built on.
When we talk about spirituality and ecology, we are talking of human believe and the environment where they stay.
That is why the creation story came in from the Christian perspective where A spirit being made the ecology came into existence making all kind of creatures come into existence.
Ranging from day 1-6 that the creation took place.
Abundance.Tribe BiWeekly Question; A Reflection on Ecology and spirituality Being fundamentally connected
@josediccus
In this video I talked about how the state of awareness of man's ecology acknowledges the spiritual ability of a supreme creator to make man's natural habitat a possibility.
When people chose to be in deep respect and admiration for their natural habitat, their environment, living and non living, seeing them as a scared creation that should be well treated then they have unlocked an aspect of spirituality to them because it takes a deep sense of spirituality to acknowledge that which lives arround us. In this video I talk about it all.
Deep Ecological Awareness, ultimately, is Spiritual Awareness

@nainaztengra
Spirituality is all about raising awareness, raising consciousness, becoming mindful, developing understanding and becoming quiet to be able to hear the voice of our own higher-self or we can say the inner voice. I strongly believe that nature and spirituality are strongly connected to each other. Staying connected to our Ecological system is the basis of our foundation. The balance in life starts from our Root Chakra and the quality of our life deeply depends on how balanced the Root Chakra is.
@abundance.tribe's BiWeekly Question: Is Deep Ecological Awareness Spiritual Awareness?

@revisesociology
What is deep ecological awareness?
This isn’t such an easy question to answer as there are so many versions of what ‘deep ecology’ looks like, including hundreds, if not thousands of traditional ways of life in which peoples live closely with nature, feeling as if they are part of a web of life, and I guess for many of these peoples such an awareness is a spiritual awareness in the most profound sense of the phrase, even if they wouldn't call it 'spiritual'.
Abundance-tribe biweekly Question|| Ecology versus spirituality

@dwixer
Connected to our limitless spiritual power within, we recognize the immortality of the soul and we lose all fear, embracing the oneness of all life. Spirituality helps us realize we are connected, knit together by a bond of love. Thus, this realization brings us to a point where we love genuinely, showing compassion in its true form, and regard everything and everyone's religion and culture in respect.spirituality(spiritual awareness) is a science of knowing our true self while ecological awareness refers to the deep knowledge about the environment around us.
Is Ecology the one true form of Spirituality?

@edouard
We were all made from mother earth. We are a part of her still. Our lungs are her lungs, our thoughts her thoughts, our bones her bones. We are one with Nature around us and any other notion of self is mere trickery.
As we progress in the journey of our lives, the environment sustains us by bringing rain on our crops and even the fuel we use was created fom organic matter, decomposed aeons ago. It is folly to be thinking about some kind of life on Mars within a closed loop system in a hostile environment, exposed to both solar and interstellar radiation.
Show Me Your Wild Heart [Fiction]

@riverflows
'Show,' the Keeper asked. It was imperative to ask the arrivals what they brought to the Sanctuary. He took this role seriously. A strong man and a tall one, he cast a formidable figure, despite missing an arm and being blind in the left eye, the orb pale like a winter sky. Sometimes they stared right at it. Most of the time they looked away, because polite society and it's rules persisted, despite everything that had happened since the Collapse.
Reawakening - Spirituality And Ecologicall Awareness!

@trucklife-family
Where to begin?
With my bare feet planted in the soil and my hands wrapped around an ancient olive tree, a tree that has stood for over 600 years on this land that I call home. That has bear witness, to many lives and many cycles.
This tree that shelters me and my family from the sun, from the rain and the wind. This true elder, that has welcomed my girls upon it's branches and each year, bears fruit, which I harvest to make oil. Nourishing and nurturing us all in so many different ways!
My respect for the natural world runs deep, like the blood in my veins, it is a natural part of me!
An Open Letter To The Universe From The Keepers Of The Earth; Response to Abundance Tribe Bi-Weekly Question.

@holisticmom
Dear Universe,
You have been here eternally, creating and shaping. Expanding, spiraling in momentum. Each and every part of you works in synchronicity.
You gave us the sun, our mother Earth, and the moon. That, in turn, gave us life. From the inner workings of our planet to the vast expanse of all that surrounds us. You gave us the moon to compliment our mother and help her keep the balance of life in check.
