Sinulog night was a vibe. Like, the streets were alive, and after soaking it all in, we had this brilliant (but maybe questionable) idea to go uphill and hit up TOPS. You know, because why not add a little existential dread at altitude to the mix? đ

Okay, so Iâve written about this place before. Back when it had its soft launch, I posted something about it (not me being ahead of the trend for once đ). Since then, we've been back a few times, but my photos have always been...meh. This time, though, I brought my camera and was determined to get some decent night shots of the city before the rain rolled in. And by "determined," I mean I took maybe five photos and panicked when I saw clouds creeping in. Priorities.

Dinner was at Queenâs Pizza because obviously, you canât go wrong with NY-style pizza. IMHO, they do it better than anyone in the city (fight me). We each picked a flavor: Garlic Shrimp, Pepperoni, and 3-Cheese... because we want to taste everything! Funny enough, after trying each other's slices, we all retreated back to our own picks like, yeah, mineâs better. Solidarity?

They also just opened this arcade inside, and let me tell you, Iâm a sucker for a token machine. Spent PHP 10 to try the Bocca della VeritĂ fortune-telling thing (spoiler: Iâm apparently mysterious? Who knew). Took a chance on the claw machines too...not my best moment. But the highlight? Printing Harryâs own One Piece âWantedâ poster. Freakinâ adorable.

Then, the rain started, so we were stuck there for a while... classic! Around 3 am, we finally headed downhill, and let me just say, why do we never learn?! No sweater. Again. Driving back home in the cold at stupid oâclock is like a self-inflicted punishment we keep signing up for. đ„¶
We stopped at the new Chowking in Basak for a warm meal before crashing at home. Itâs shockingly not as greasy as I expected (is this growth?). Too bad the wonton soups werenât available, though. That wouldâve hit the spot.
By the time we got home, it was 5 am, and we just collapsed onto the bed like the tired, cold, but thoroughly fed humans we were. Great day? Absolutely. Would we do it again? 100%.
Will we remember sweaters next time? Doubt it. âïž
