Sloan v Thaddius

I knew I was in trouble seeing Sloan up against Thaddius. I choose Sloan so I could use Corsair to potentially slow down Blast damage. The below pre battle chart shows my big mistake was not deploying enough health on the battle field.

Even with my large armor and melee advantage, my lack of health made my odds of winning very low. Looking back I just don't have enough health in my Life collection to compete with my opponents lineup. I don't own a Uriel, but even with his ten health I could not find a lineup that had any hope of coming out on top.

What would have been better?

I spent a long time moving cards around and trying different combinations, but the best I could come up with is placing Disintegrator up front to slow my opponents melee attacks and one more health than Chaos Knight. This at least would have given me a coin toss chance.

😐😐 3—2. A winning record, hard to be disappointed with a winning record. 😐😐

Two of my three wins were from opponents fleeing. It's hard to get too excited about one true victory, but points are points and the Calzones finished with 99 total points for third place. This was good enough for 10 crowns, 462 merits and 11 SPS. Will tier two offer greater rewards???

As with most activities connected to Hive, and the crypto world in general, I discovered PIZZA because of Splinterlands. Also like most Hive connected activities I discovered a world of possibilities beyond what I expected. So what exactly is PIZZA?
