Greetings dear friends of the community of memories, which week after week helps us to relive those happy moments that remain in our minds and in our hearts.

In this opportunity I share with you some photos that I got searching through my archives, where we celebrated Christmas 2021 in the company of my mother-in-law who came from Siquisique, a distant town belonging to the state of Lara.

At that time my mother-in-law came to Barquisimeto with her daughter-in-law and her two granddaughters, to spend the end of the year with us in our house.

For that opportunity my mother-in-law was healthy and walked normally, unfortunately nowadays, after a fall, she had a crack in her femur that immobilized her and she cannot walk.

Most of the people I know, when they talk about their mother-in-law, change their faces making faces because they do not get along with her and do not like her company. However, in my case I can't say the same, because she has always been a class apart with me. When I visit her at her house, she is always attentive to my food and that I am taken care of in the best way, so it was my turn to repay those attentions in her visit to my house.

That Christmas, we shared a delicious dinner with hallacas, ham bread, chicken salad and even a pineapple cake. It was very nice to see my mother-in-law happy and enjoying every moment with her family.

Unfortunately since that date, she has not been able to come because of this impediment in her legs, but we go every year to welcome the year together with her and her granddaughters.

So far this remembrance of that date, thank you for reading with me and I hope to meet you another time.

TBT/ Recibiendo el año nuevo en compañía de mi suegra (año 2021)

Saludos estimados amigos de la comunidad de los recuerdos, que semana a semana nos ayuda a revivir aquellos felices momentos que quedan en nuestra mente y en nuestro corazón.

En esta oportunidad les comparto unas fotos que conseguí buscando entre mis archivos, donde celebramos la navidad del año 2021 en compañía de mi suegra que vino de Siquisique, un pueblito lejano perteneciente al estado Lara.

En ese entonces mi suegra vino a Barquisimeto en compañía de su nuera y sus dos nietas, a pasar el fin de año con nosotros en nuestra casa.

Para esa oportunidad mi suegra estaba sana y caminaba normalmente, lamentablemente en la actualidad, después de una caída, tuvo una fisura en el fémur que la inmovilizó y no puede caminar.

La mayoría de las personas que conozco, cuando hablan de su suegra, cambian el rostro haciendo muecas porque no se llevan bien con ella y no les agrada su compañía. Sin embargo, en mi caso no puedo decir lo mismo, porque siempre ha sido clase aparte conmigo. Cuando yo la visito en su casa, siempre está pendiente de mi comida y de que me atiendan de la mejor manera, por eso me tocaba retribuir esas atenciones en su visita a mi casa.

Esa navidad, compartimos una rica cena con hallacas, pan de jamón, ensalada de pollo y hasta una torta de piña. Fue muy agradable ver a mi suegra contenta y disfrutando de cada momento en familia.

Lamentablemente desde esa fecha, ella no ha podido venir por ese impedimento en las piernas, pero nosotros vamos todos los años a recibir el año junta a ella y sus nietas.

Hasta aquí esta remembranza de aquellafecha, gracias por acompañarme con la lectura y espero encontrarnos en otra oportunidad.
