What Makes Hive Different from Other Cryptos?
The community is in charge, adding value to it by continue to develop more and more improvements to our already existent dapps and to add more dapps to our ever-growing ecosystem. I think this is the biggest and more important thing with Hive the blockchain and its coin. Is one of its biggest qualities and advantages, a big community using the blockchain daily. That is one of the biggest differences from other cryptos.
Also, there are the other important perks that offers this crypto that others don’t like, transacting on the Hive blockchain has zero fees and it typically takes 3 seconds to process. This is far faster than most blockchains. Remember, if you transfer Hive to an exchange and convert it to another currency, you may incur a small fee from the exchange.
The Hive Blockchain contains three unique tokens with three different attributes. Whether you want to increase your influence inside the platform, trade or just hold, there’s a Hive token for you.
The Hive Blockchain works with a delegated proof of stake model and so by using witnesses instead of miners allows for greater efficiency in block production. Only 10% of the new coins are paid to block producers (witnesses). The other 90% of new HIVE coins are awarded to content producers, curators, Hive Power holders and to the Hive Decentralize Fund (for the development of the blockchain itself).
So, technically you can earn HIVE for free with zero investment from you other than your time producing content of quality or developing for the platform.
