En el mes de septiembre fui parte de una capacitación por parte de la Organización World Visión, llamada Héroes Naranjas, basado en una niñez protegida, donde se tocaron varios puntos de importancia y que según yo, todos deberíamos conocer.
Como Defensora de los Derechos Humanos, estos temas me apasionan, pero más allá de solo apasionarme me gusta que se lleven a cabo este tipo de capacitaciones donde se nos invite no solo a refrescar y/o adquirir nuevos conocimientos, si no también, donde se pueda concientizar a cada ciudadano, ya que muchas veces ante casos de violencia, se pierde la empatía.

In the month of September I was part of a training by the World Vision Organization, called Orange Heroes, based on a protected childhood, where several important points were touched upon and that according to me, we should all be aware of.
As a Human Rights Defender, I am passionate about these issues, but more than just being passionate, I like the fact that this type of training is carried out, where we are invited not only to refresh and/or acquire new knowledge, but also to raise awareness in every citizen, as many times in cases of violence, empathy is lost.
En esta oportunidad, la invitación vino nuevamente por parte de la Organización World Visión, quienes nos invitaron a la entrega de certificados para quienes estuvieron en la capacitación de Héroes Naranjas, esta entrega se llevó a cabo el día Martes en la noche. Y aprovecharon el espacio para extender la invitación al CCPD de la ciudad donde vivo, Portoviejo.
El CCPD, es el Consejo Cantonal para la Protección de Derechos, en este caso de Portoviejo, aunque existe en todo el país. Ellos asistieron a esta entrega de certificados con la finalidad de profundizar un poco más el tema sobre La Ruta de Denuncia, ya que justamente en estos días en la ciudad se han estado realizando actividades para defender y alzar la voz en contra de la violencia hacia la mujer.
El conversatorio estuvo excelente y además respondieron preguntas que no eran del tema, pero que estuvieron interesantes, como las referentes a él Departamento Integral de Consejo Estudiantil.
This time, the invitation came again from the World Vision Organization, who invited us to the presentation of certificates for those who were in the training of Orange Heroes, this delivery took place on Tuesday night. And they took the opportunity to extend the invitation to the CCPD of the city where I live, Portoviejo.
The CCPD is the Cantonal Council for the Complaint of Rights, in this case in Portoviejo, although it exists all over the country. They attended this presentation of certificates with the aim of going a little deeper into the subject of La Ruta de Protección, since these days in the city activities have been taking place to defend and raise their voices against violence against women.
The discussion was excellent and they also answered questions that were not related to the subject, but were interesting, such as those concerning the Integral Department of the Student Council.
World Visión, como siempre, excelentes anfitriones y es que no solo nos citaron para la entrega de los certificados y este conversatorio oportuno, si no que también nos tenían preparada una cena especial. Cabe destacar que la reunión se llevó nuevamente en el Hotel Ceibo Dorado, y como siempre destacando con una excelente atención.
Antes de la entrega de certificados y justo después del conversatorio, llegó el momento de la cena. Un arroz moro (aliñado) delicioso, acompañado con carne de cerdo horneada en mermelada de mora y una ensalada.
World Visión, as always, excellent hosts and not only did they summon us for the presentation of the certificates and this timely conversation, but they also had a special dinner prepared for us. It is worth mentioning that the meeting was held again at the Ceibo Dorado Hotel, and as always with excellent service.
Before the presentation of the certificates and right after the talk, it was time for dinner. A delicious Moorish rice (aliñado), accompanied with pork baked in blackberry jam and a salad.
El postre fue el rey de la noche, un pequeño pero delicioso pie de maracuyá, que era una joya al paladar. Definitivamente fue muy pequeño, todos nos veíamos y queríamos más, pero así son las cosas buenas, se deben disfrutar ya que duran poco 😂🙊.
Para finalizar pasamos al brindis, por este año lleno de concientización y sensibilización ante los derechos de los niños, niñas y adolescentes, así como el derecho de los adultos y personas mayores. Brindamos por las cosas nuevas que vendrán el próximo año y poder llegar a territorios donde pocos se atreven a ir.
The dessert was the king of the night, a small but delicious passion fruit cake, which was a jewel on the palate. It was definitely too small, we all looked at each other and wanted more, but that's how good things are, you have to enjoy them as they are short-lived 😂🙊.
Finally, we toasted to this year full of awareness and sensitization to the rights of children and adolescents, as well as the rights of adults and the elderly. We toast to new things to come next year and to be able to reach territories where few dare to go.
Fue una noche maravillosa, me sentí muy a gusto, el lugar, el conversatorio, la cena, el postre, todo estuvo a la altura. Y así fue como para finalizar, nos tocó recibir nuestros certificados y tomarnos la fotografía grupal del evento.
It was a wonderful evening, I felt very comfortable, the place, the conversation, the dinner, the dessert, everything was up to par. And so it was time to receive our certificates and take the group photo of the event.
Recuerda: ante la violencia en niños, niñas y adolescentes, no ser tolerante y denunciar. ¡Tú también puedes ser un Héroe Naranja!
Remember: don't tolerate violence against children and adolescents, don't be tolerant and denounce it, you can be an Orange Hero too!
