Last Sunday. Time for a short Sunday afternoon nap, the so famous siesta in Spain. I can't take it every day but I must admit that I like those days when they happen. Sunday is a perfect day for it, to take the day in a relaxed way. I was already in the world of dreams when I heard some meowing.
I am probably a bit longing for having a cat again, and the meowing sound could easily come from my dreams. But when I heard it for the second time and saw the familiar things around me I knew it comes from real life. Wait, we don't have a kitty... it was a cat that visited us :))
The neighbours from the third floor have cats. Two neighbours - two cats. One of them seems that like to walk around in the building, exploring the garden and the halls... and other people's apartments 😂 The cat, let's name it Mister Visitor probably got confused in counting the stairs and floors and ended up on our floor. In one of our windows, meowing 😁
He was comfortable there, and let himself be cuddled. It lasted for some time but we felt we should take him home. Well, that is what my son was asking me, should we guide him back to his owners? I even let Mister Visitor enter our apartment in one moment as I saw him a bit nervous and scared. He jumped on the chair and was curious to see what we have on the table. Croissants. He was not interested in them in the end.
My son took him in his arms and carried him to his real home. We could give him shelter and a bit of love just for some moments, I know I can't take him even if I would like to.
This cat was not the first one who visited us. In the previous house where we lived, there were several cats visiting us. Some of them regularly as I was giving them food (hmm... bribing them to come again haha). This beauty was maybe scared in the beginning, though after some tasty bites, he was willing to play too.
We had more experience with cats visiting us... maybe they know I like them so much so they come. Last year I had two guest cats in my old home, it was fun having them around. And if they don't come, I go and search for them. On the streets!
One Hiver, @pumarte has a cat, Pituky, the type of cat I like so much. Yesterday, in one of his comments he left a photo of Pituky, and it made me remember that I met a similar cat - though already years ago.
Let me see you kitty. You are so beautiful and soft. Can I pet you?
Meow, meow, of course.
My son joined me (ow, he was so small 😊) and the kitty found itself in the heaven of cuddles hahaha. My husband was waiting for us...
I think he called the cat as in one moment it decided to walk toward him. We stayed there, to see what will happen and if the cat would come back to us.
Hi there, do you have some tasty morsel?
Those two gave me just cuddles. Don't they know that a cat needs food too?
