Beer Tasting: Adnams Ghost Ship and Fuller's IPA

Hello, beer tasters! 🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

It's #beersaturday time, one of the more enjoyable moments of the week for me. I'll enjoy two beers in peace. I have to admit, it has not been a busy week at all, I am on standby, there are no activities insight, I am waiting for Godoy and looking forward to new tastes.

Adnams Ghost Ship

Brewed by Adnams Breewery, Suffolk, England. Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 4.4% ABV.
They say:

Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale that takes its recipe from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, the Bell. Inspired by the tales of old smuggling ships along the Suffolk coast. Full of citrus and biscuit aromas with a spooky hoppy bite.

I also read that the beer got Bronze Medal Winner at The International Brewing Awards 2013, Silver Medal winner at the 2014 International Beer Challenge and Gold Medal Winner at The Indie Beer Can Awards 2014 (Contains barley & rye).
Wow! That's really something.

Orange color with very little foam. It flows very smoothly down the throat and the mouth immediately tastes of hop bitterness and citrus aromas. There is less malt. Very smooth, slightly carbonated mouthfeel, leaving some citrus bitterness in the aftertaste.

Very good beer, if you ask me. An English classic to remember forever. I won't say it's the best beer, because I haven't tried the best one yet :) (I think I will in some unspecified future), but that's what I look for in a beer.
The price isn't too expensive either, so I'm sure a few bottles will end up in my fridge.

Fuller's India Pale Ale

Brewed by Fuller's Brewery, Chiswick, England. Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.3% ABV. It's a classic English IPA.

It is hazy orange with lots of firm foam that lasts for a long time. From the first sip, there is a strong hop bitterness and at the same time a pronounced malty sweetness. A slight aroma of tropical fruits is in the background, the hop bitterness is stable throughout, even in the aftertaste it remains in the mouth for some time. Very well balanced.

Both beers were excellent and I am very happy with what I tasted today. Although I mostly drink lagers and pilsners, I can say that these two beers easily match them in taste.
