Rainy days are giving us a different vibe. Aside from the cold breeze and a wet surrounding, there's always an impact coming from the rain. The sound of the water dropping on the roof can be calming and relaxing to others, but there are moments when a rainy day reminds us of loneliness and sadness. Maybe it's how we reflect on a typical rainy day.
Days ago, I heard on the news that we are now saying hello to summer, yet a rainy afternoon came. This past week, we experienced a bit of rain here in our province. Isn't it weird? But anyway, a typical rainy afternoon really happens, and I guess we all have our own stories about it. And here's mine.
I heard the noise. The normal sound of our roof when the drops of water coming from the rain starts to fall. Sometimes I could be so emotional whenever I feel the cold breeze entering my room. It feels like sadness and loneliness are telling me to cry, just like how the clouds try to hold back the rain.
But at this time, I was filled with excitement and calming vibe. This is the other side of my typical rainy afternoon. I grabbed my favorite pillow, put on my blanket, and started listening to the sound of the raindrops.
Maybe you are also doing the same things that I mentioned. Rainy days can make us lazy and want to only lay on bed all day, right? The relaxing vibe went all over my room, and I took advantage of it, of course.
But something came into my mind. How does a rainy afternoon looks like outside my room? I already know that we will be having a wet surrounding, but I'm curious on looking at a different perspective aside from what I'm doing inside the four corners of my room.
Solar-Powered Light Did Not Get Much Sunlight
We are using a solar-powered light, and during a typical rainy afternoon, it did not get too much charge. I don't know if it will last a night, or only a few minutes.
Plants Looked Happy
Plants and trees need both sunlight and water to grow. And by seeing them in a rainy afternoon I can say that they somehow felt happy with the drops of water from above and possibly went through their roots.
Water Dripping From The Roof
It's a usual scene. A water dripping from the roof going down to the ground. This capture is from the house of our neighbor, as I cannot go out to take a picture of ours.
Trees Are Dancing
When it's raining, there's a bit of wind playing along with the trees too. And I witnessed it all the time. Some of the trees around us seem to dance with the wind on most of the raining moments.
I don't know how a typical rainy afternoon looks like from your place, but I am happy to share mine. I hope you enjoyed this blog that showed a bit of the details about how I spend my day when it's raining, and how my surroundings look like during it. Have a great day and keep safe!
I cannot express how thankful I am to those who have taken the time to read what I have written today. Your support means everything to me. Please acknowledge the sincere thanks I feel for each and every one of you. I hope to see you on my next blog and look forward to it!
