After our successful Online Hive Orientation last February 2, 2025, with @helianthus-chloe, more interesting individuals are curious and want to learn about the Hive platform. This platform is quickly spreading around after a days of onboarding the newbies, They also help us spread the word about Hive, which I'm glad they did.
They told their friends and other family members about it and asked us if we could conduct a quick Hive Orientation for them. At exactly that time on the next day, I have a scheduled Hive Orientation with @joannawanabee, who messaged me on my Facebook Page, so I let them join the orientation .
Just want to share, I also shared the Hive platform on my Facebook page, and lot of queries are popping in and want to know more about Hive. I conduct an overview one-on-one orientation about the platform then I let them join the Onboarding Orientation with others to learn more deeply about Hive.
Last February 22, 2025, we conducted our second Hive orientation for this year.We have seven people interested person in knowing the platform. Most of them are from Cebu, they are connected with @helianthus-chloe and the other one is from Samar (I didn't know we are from same Island), who messaged me on the Facebook page. This is just another online Hive orientation, where we maximize the use of Web 2 platform to have some webinars abut Hive.
Talking about webinars, Do we have a Hive front-end or Hive base platform where we can conduct some webinars or online Orientation? Just let me know.
I scheduled the orientation by 8:00 pm that day. In the Orientation, we started by introducing ourselves, then we quickly jumped to the Basic Information of Hive Blockchain. I let them watch the Hive Informational Video by @lordbutterfly then discuss how it it is differs from the web 2 platform that they currently use.I also discuss why it is a blockchain and why it is a Decentralized platform.
I also introduce to them the different Hive fron-ends from socials such as PEAKD, Ecency, Hive.Blog and others. Islo shares the Hive games they can play, such as Splinterlands, Drcrops and Others. I also discuss NFT'S that they might explore someday in Hive.
After, I navigate them through @peakd social, which is one we usually use in creating blogs. Why PeakD? For me, it's newbie-friendly and easy to navigate. It has a resemblance to Other web 2 platforms that a newbie can quickly learn and adopt. I discuss the profile area, the feed, the communities they might explore, the blogs and the area where they will create their content. I also discuss the reward system of their content and the Wallet Area. I also introduced the HBD, Hive Power, and HIVE tokkern that they can have.
We also teach them how to engage, upvote a blog, comment, and reblog. We also emphasize the importance of community and the rules they should follow. We also highlight plagiarism and creating content using AI that they should not try to do.
We also help them create their Introduction Blog so they can officially start their journey in Hive. On this part, I ask the assistance of @helianthus-chloe and @juvithavibes to guide the others to set up and create their Intro Blog. By the way, all of the attendees are now enjoying the platform. This Orientation is part of OCD ONBOARDING PROGRAM, aiming to escalate the good news of Hive all around the world. The program helps and guides newbies in their journey in Hive Platform and gives them the best experience in the Blockchain.
