Mummy Meow with 3 ginger kittens inside the compound wall

Some cats really do live their lives to the fullest, and Meow is that kind of cat. She’s my flat visiting cat who gets fed on the first floor. Around 2 weeks ago, I spotted her with 3 of her ginger kittens, in an empty plot sealed by compound falls, filled with some overgrowth of bushy stuff. There one can at times find Meow’s playful kittens, visible at spots in gaps between the bushy green cover.
I take it, all the earlier days this mommy cat Meow was busy taking care of those kitties. Even now, I see her loving her kitties, licking them and just 2 days ago I saw the kitties playing with Mamma, they love her tail, can’t blame them it’s so colourful and when it’s moving, I can understand how attractive it must be for those small cats.
The stay area of the kittens though awesome is covered with greenery with bush coverage, little branches, birdies and squirrels about, human beings have dirtied the place throwing stuff like this toilet commode. I have seen the kitties explore that object, stand on it like as if it’s a throne for it.

A wonderful Outdoor life there for this Mommy cat!!
However, Meow has started roaming around exploring the opposite flat by jumping to the other side of the compound wall that leads to another flat opposite from mine. I found her coming my way being around with a dirty looking Tomcat as well.
Even though she’s enjoying her outdoor life, she is there for her kitties, oversees them playing around the area sitting on our flat compound wall, licks them to bits so lovingly, as she is a loving mother. There are times Meow chills lying in the bushy area with the kitties running all over her and they make her play too, catching her tail stuff which I mentioned earlier.
Meow cat followed me home!!
That is one side of her, for some reason, she loves coming to me whenever she spots me, the reason I feel has to be more than that spoon or 2 of wet food I offer her. She followed me home as well recently, where she saw Mochu, my white cat, waiting on the front door. I had to close the door on her, because poor Mochu got scared, with it’s tails up and fattened already with some cat fighting noises emerging from Meow already. She tried to make a pounce on poor Mochu, shocked it was.
Meow cat's affection towards me is sweet of course
She has all those silly qualities prevalent in most cats, like being fascinated with squirrels, today she was excited to check out some roach which she left deciding to chase me instead. This stray cat loves to be petted, allows you to lift it and does not scratch you off. She even nipples on your hand lightly which is one way cats generally show affection.
She’s a loving cat to me always, not the selfish kind that looks at you as it’s food provider, which will also be ok as generally wilder cats don’t really want much human connection, they like their life without us interfering, but this one likes human beings being a part in it’s life. She’s a special cat.
And Saturday , coming Caturday plan for Meow’s birth control operation!!
Coming weekend I have decided to spay her, hope all goes well. Her kitties are bound to miss her though, but what’s got to be done is to be done. We will try our best to provide wet food inside the compound wall for the kitties and will try to minimise mummy away time for 2 days, instead of 3 days. I am sure they are off the milk feeding stage, they are already staying alone for long periods of time.
Done the best in postponement of neutering for Meow cat, further postponement may lead to more kitties with an uncertain future. After all when Meow gets another kitty litter, she would turn her attention to them and these kitties will be left to fend for themselves and that time may not be far, if you wait longer.
Cat Meow lured into cat carrier
Meanwhile I have already tried luring Meow into the Carrier last week with some wet food, she is going in. That’s good news. However, I have lots of challenges in place on keeping meow fasted for 12 hours for the operation as I generally see her coming to eat in the mornings not evenings and I don’t want to capture her on Friday morning for her Saturday morning operation. Anyway… let’s see how things go.
I am still trying to arrange a big cage to take Meow in, so she can be boarded there with food, litter, water if needed till she is taken for operation, not sure if I can arrange it, not even sure I can take Meow for operation if I can’t capture her in Friday evening.
That’s that. I have been busy mostly thinking about Meow spaying and planning for its arrangement, I don’t know if I can do it successfully. I hope I can, fingers crossed.
