What an amazing week in Canada at Shambhala Music Festival! Sunday was an epic last day of the event, although we spent quite a few hours in the wee morning on Monday getting our last dances in.
Of course, I couldn't miss the Sunday morning yoga. It is always my favorite yoga of the week because it is on the last day and everyone is wiped out. Plenty of people show up without sleeping (like me). So many deep, relaxing poses to do. Then after yoga, I went straight to the river to relax in the shade and have a nap. Eventually, the rest of my festival family met me down at the river for our last hurrah at the Salmo River.
I left the river around 4pm to head back to camp for a powerful nap before our last full night of revelry. I napped hard. Slept like a bump on a log for about 4 hours. Woke up ready to take on the festival one last time!
Looking at the hourly step chart, you can get a good sense of my daily activity. I was dancing from midnight to 6am. Then I hung out around camp, went to yoga, then the steps stop while I slept at the beach. I walked home and then 0 steps while I slept. Finally, I ended the day walking back to the fest, sat down for the first few sets of the night, and then got me groove on around 11pm. It's going to be so sad to have to pack up and leave tomorrow. Until next time...
