It's been 3 weeks since the last time I posted about car spotting. It's not that I haven't been wanting to do it, but I've been rather busy. I was traveling for almost a week, then when I got home it was rainy for many consecutive days. I've noticed that the rain tends to keep people from bringing their nice cars out of the garage.
Speaking of my car spotting posts, I've got a collection with all of them easily accessible in one place which you can find here.
Today I present you with 10 more cool cars that I was lucky enough to stumble upon out in the wild. I've got sports cars, electric cars, and even a super rare Call of Duty Jeep.
Let's get started...
Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty MW3 Edition
I saw this one parked in front of my brother's house in Pennsylvania. If this is what I think it is, it's a 2012 model year Modern Warfare 3 Jeep that is one of only 200 made. I'm not convinced it is authentic though.
I'm hesitant to believe this is the real thing because all of the MW3 Jeeps that I've seen online are black Rubicons. I'm thinking that this guy just bought an orange base model aka Unlimited and then applied decals and badges himself. Hard to know for sure since this thing is so heavily modified and I am no expert on Jeeps. One thing is for certain, MW3 is one of the best COD games of all time. Many think of this one as the game that propelled streaming to popularity. It came out the same year that Twitch launched and was quickly the most popular game. I know that I have fond memories of MW3, but some of you may be too young to even remember it.
Audi e-tron GT
Audi is moving away from old-school gasoline engines and onto the electric car scene. Their flagship EV is the e-tron and this GT version boasts 522 hp, which is pretty crazy as is. There is also a 591 hp RS e-tron GT model. I wasn't able to get a great photo of this one since I saw it in traffic, but I did manage to capture a few shots of this beauty. This is a $150k car FYI. It may not look that sporty, but it is an absolute beast.
Audi TT Roadster
Another Audi, but this one is a whole lot less menacing on the road. The TT is the tiniest Audi you can get and I feel it looks best in this convertible form called the Roadster. It's not got crazy power or anything, but I've always loved these cars a lot.
BMW M4 Competition
This is the best of the best when it comes to BMW 4 series. You have the lowest model aka the regular BMW 4 Series. Then there is the M4. The best of the best is the M4 Competition. This is a track car that doubles as a daily driver. I would imagine that anyone who owns this thing probably knows a lot about cars and is a strong driver. I was proven wrong when I saw this black M4 Competition.
The old lady driving it was a pretty terrible driver it seems. Her seat was as close as you can get to the steering wheel. Her wheels had curb rash and this thing is less than a year old, so there is no excuse for that at all. Those two things combined tell me this woman has never had the car over 80 mph most likely. It's sickening to see a car like this in the hands of someone who has no idea what to do with it. That's the way of the world though and I actually wrote an entire post about this topic, which you can view here.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
The Hellcat seems to be the go-to car for rappers and drug dealers when they finally have a lot of money. This 797 hp RWD muscle car is a serious car. In the hands of the wrong person though, it's an absolute deathmobile. You can't just floor it and expect the car to always stay glued to the road. I think it requires a certain level of confidence and skill to handle a monster like this one.
Ford Mustang Mach-E 4x
The Mach-E is a controversial car. Mustang enthusiasts hate that they've gone electric with their beloved Stang. Then people who are able to accept change love this car quite a lot already. It has great performance and tech. What's not to love? I think this is one of the better-looking Mach-E that I've seen, but still, not one I'd want to own myself.
Ford Mustang Shelby GT350
I watched a young boy and his father pull up to the grocery store in this 526 hp GT350. If I grew up riding in a car like that, there is no doubt I'd be obsessed with cars for the rest of my life. It already happened and I never rode in fast cars during my childhood. It was nice to see a father letting his son enjoy being the passenger in such a special car.
Kia Stinger GT2
I used to think of Kia as a cheap Korean car manufacturer. That's exactly what it used to be. My dad drove a Kia Rio that cost barely over $10k new, it was actually the first manual transmission car that I ever drove. Since those days, Kia has evolved into a very reputable brand. All of their cars look nice to me now and they even have something like the Stinger for people looking to get behind the wheel of something exciting. The main reason I respect these cars so much is that my favorite car YouTuber Doug DeMuro had one for a few years. He is an expert on cars and if he owned it, then you know for sure it's a car worth owning.
Toyota Camry TRD
These Camry TRDs are getting to be way too common. The special allure is fading from them the more I see them. I still think it's an attractive car, but I don't look at it and think "Damn, I bet that thing is fast". More like "I bet that thing WANTS to be fast." The white on black looked really good and I was a huge fan of these wheels. I still respect this car, but I swear if I see another one soon I'm not going to be very excited.
Honda Civic Type R
This is the only other car on today's list that I saw while traveling out of state in Pennsylvania. This blue Type R was parked outside of the Amish buffet that my family and I ate at together. My brother drives a Civic SI, so when we see a Type R we both start drooling. Blue is my favorite color and I really loved this car a lot. I bet it's a total joy to own. Fast, fun, reliable, and very sexy.
My personal favorite out of these was actually the BMW M4 Competition. I think the universe would be better balanced if the old lady driving it swapped cars with me. A car like that is meant to be controlled by somebody that lives to drive.
What about you? Comment your favorite car out of the 10 I shared with you today.
