Heute zeige ich euch noch einige weitere Lightpainting Bilder, die ich mit dem Zapfen des Mammutbaumes aufgenommen habe. Außer dem Zapfen habe ich einige andere Dinge verwendet, wie beispielsweise 3D Effektfolie oder eine Obstschale, welche mir @gunnarheilmann vor einiger Zeit geschenkt hatte. Danke Gunnar. Today I'm showing you some more lightpainting pictures that I took with the cone of the sequoia tree. Apart from the cone, I used a few other things, such as 3D effect foil or a fruit bowl that @gunnarheilmann gave me some time ago. Thank you Gunnar. Ich platzierte den Zapfen auf dem Effektpapier und richtete dann die Camera, welche auf dem Camera Rotation Tool befestigt war, auf den Zapfen aus. Dazu schaltete ich den Live View der Kamera ein. Über die Gitterlinien auf den Display richtete ich die Mitte so aus, dass der Zapfen bei jedem Rotationsschritt fast vollständig sichtbar bleibt und es keine größeren Bereich mit Überlagerungen gibt. Nachdem das erledigt war, löste ich die Kamera aus und beleuchtete die Szene mit zwei Taschenlampen. Benutzt habe ich eine Emisar D4V2, eine Lumintop Tool AA sowie verschiedene Convoy S2+ mit farbigen LEDs. Ich drehte dann die Kamera um die optische Achse und wiederholte bei jedem Schritt die Ausleuchtung.
I placed the cone on the effect paper and then aligned the camera, which was attached to the Camera Rotation Tool, with the cone. To do this, I switched on the camera's Live View. Using the grid lines on the display, I aligned the centre so that the cone remained almost completely visible with each rotation step and there were no large areas of overlapping. Once this was done, I triggered the camera and illuminated the scene with two torches. I used an Emisar D4V2, a Lumintop Tool AA and various Convoy S2+ with coloured LEDs. I then rotated the camera around the optical axis and repeated the illumination at each step.

Die Beleuchtung des stark reflektierenden Effektpapiers gestaltete sich schwieriger, als ich gedacht habe. Die genaue Ausrichtung der Taschenlampe gestaltete sich bei einigen Bilder überaus schwierig. Ich entschied mich dann, die Taschenlampe auf einem kleinen Stativ zu befestigen. Somit musste ich das Licht nur jeweils einmal ausrichten und nicht bei jedem Rotationsschritt.
Lighting the highly reflective effect paper turned out to be more difficult than I thought. The exact alignment of the torch proved to be extremely difficult for some of the pictures. I then decided to mount the torch on a small tripod. This meant that I only had to align the light once and not with each rotation step.

In den letzten beiden Bildern hatte ich noch einen zweiten, kleineren Zapfen im Bild platziert. Dieser stammt ebenfalls aus dem Schlosspark Kaarz. Von welcher Art Baum der Zapfen stammt hab ich mir leider nicht gemerkt. Bei der großen Anzahl verschiedener sehr exotischer Bäume hätte ich mir vielleicht Notizen machen sollen. Aber für die Lightpainting Bilder ist das auch nicht ganz so wichtig, wie ich finde.
In the last two pictures I had placed a second, smaller cone in the picture. This one also comes from Kaarz Castle Park. Unfortunately, I didn't remember what kind of tree the cone came from. Given the large number of very exotic trees, perhaps I should have taken notes. But I don't think that's all that important for the light painting pictures.
Um den Lichtkegel der Taschenlampe so einzuengen, dass nur der recht kleine Zapfen beleuchtet wird verwendete ich verschiedene trichterförmige Vorsätze. Diese habe ich auf dem 3D Drucker ausgedruckt. In den Vorsätzen finden Farbfilter aus Acryl Platz.
I used various funnel-shaped attachments to narrow the light cone of the torch so that only the very small cone is illuminated. I printed these on the 3D printer. The attachments have space for acrylic colour filters.
