Recently one of the kittens I had adopted came back to my house. I returned him to my grandmother's house because he was very small and I wanted him to spend more time with his mother, but since he is now grown up he came back to my house.
Having him at home, my cat started to get uncomfortable and with an unusual behavior for her. At one point she sat on one of the tables I have in the living room and stayed there for a few hours, totally still, something that is not normal. In view of this, I took the opportunity to take some pictures of her and I will share them with you...
I introduce you again to my little cat. You have already seen him in previous posts, but look how big he is now. He has grown quite a bit.
In the picture on the left, for example, you can see how the bigger cat is watching the little one (the one lying down) from far away, she doesn't approach him. Sometimes they fight, but the little one loses and I have to separate them... they will get used to be together.

Anyway, as I told you, my cat stayed parked, so to speak, on top of that little table for quite a while. She didn't move, she just stayed in that place watching everything else from afar.
I approached her and she didn't move, I picked up the phone and the party started. Pictures and pictures.

It is the first time, since I have her, that I had the opportunity to focus her so close to take these pictures, because she is usually very nervous, restless and hyperactive.
Thanks to the phone camera I was able to focus precisely on her, achieving a blur in everything else, so that she is the protagonist of the photograph.
As I told you, she did not move from her position, but she did move her head and reacted to my stimuli, such as snapping her fingers from above or calling her name when I focused on her from behind.

My cat is beautiful, I have always said that she has an adorable look that makes me feel very calm and happy to have her, because I like to make her love, give her food and well... take care of her.

It was only for an instant, but I managed to catch that look, and then he turned around and returned to the position he was in. The truth was that she had her eyes fixed on the other kitten, which was not far away. If he moved she followed him with her eyes.
I think she climbed on the table to be in a higher place than him to watch him from the height, something that makes her feel like the dominant one, I don't know, but I think it must be something like that....
I estimate that he was like that for a little over an hour, because halfway through a movie he was watching he sat down at the table and when he finished he stayed there until the kitten fell asleep under a window I have, away from his watchful gaze.
I felt great to be able to take these pictures of her, because I once had a cat that died and I couldn't even take a picture of her. So now that I have these cats I like to take a lot of pictures to keep as a souvenir....

Hace poco volvió a mi casa uno de los gatitos que había adoptado. Lo regresé a casa de mi abuela porque estaba muy pequeño y quería que pasara más tiempo con su mamá, pero como ya está crecidito volvió a mi casa.
Al tenerlo en casa, mi gata comenzó a ponerse incómoda y con un comportamiento poco habitual en ella. En un momento se sentó en una de las mesitas que tengo en la sala y ahí se quedó por unas horas, totalmente quieta, algo que no es normal. En vista de esto, aproveché de tomarle unas cuantas fotos y las voy a compartir con ustedes...
Les presento otra vez a mi pequeño gato. Ya lo habían visto en publicaciones anteriores, pero vean lo grande que está ya. Ha crecido bastante.
En la foto de la izquierda, por ejemplo, pueden ver como la gata más grande se queda viendo al pequeño (el que está acostado) desde lejos, no se le acerca. A veces pelean, pero sale perdiendo el pequeño y me toca separarlos... ya se acostumbrarán a estar juntos.

En fin, como les dije, mi gata se quedó estacionada, por decirlo de alguna manera, encima de esa mesita por un buen tiempo. No se movía, solo se quedó en ese lugar viendo desde lejos todo lo demás.
Me le acerqué y no se movió, tomé el teléfono y comenzó la fiesta. Fotos y fotos.

Es la primera vez, desde que la tengo, que tuve la oportunidad de enfocarla tan cerca para tomarle esas fotos, porque suele ser muy nerviosa, inquieta e hiperactiva.
Gracias a la cámara del teléfono logré enfocarla precisamente a ella, logrando un desenfoque en todo lo demás, para que sea ella la protagonista de la fotografía.
Como les dije, no se movía de su posición, pero sí movía la cabeza y reaccionaba a los estímulos que le hacía, como chasquear los dedos desde arriba o llamarla cuando la enfocaba desde la parte de atrás.

Mi gata es bella, siempre he dicho que tiene una mirada adorable que me hace sentir muy tranquilo y contento de tenerla, porque me gusta hacerle cariño, darle comida y pues... cuidarla.
Precisamente en estas fotos traté de enfocarme en eso, en la mirada que tiene. Vean la foto a continuación, ¿qué les hace sentir esa mirada? Logré que mirara directamente a la cámara y es como si los estuviese mirando directamente... ¿qué les parece esta foto en particular? Díganme...
Fue solo un instante, pero logré captar esa mirada, ya luego volteó y volvió a la posición a la que estaba. La verdad tenía la vista fija en el otro gatito, que no estaba muy lejos. Si él se movía ella lo seguía con la mirada.
Creo que se subió a la mesa para estar en un lugar más alto que él para vigilarlo desde la altura, algo que la hace sentir como la dominante, no lo sé, pero creo que debe ser algo así...
Calculo que estuvo así durante poco más de una hora, porque a mitad de una película que estaba viendo se sentó en la mesa y cuando terminó siguió allí hasta que el gatito se durmió debajo de un escaparate que tengo, lejos de su mirada vigilante.
Me sentí genial por poder tomarle estas fotos, porque una vez tuve un gato que murió y no pude tomarle ni una foto. Así que ahora que tengo estas gatas me gusta tomarle muchas fotos para tenerlas de recuerdo...
