Some time ago I told you that one of my cats had had four kittens. Well, it's been a month since then and the kittens have grown quite a bit compared to how they were at that time.

Evidently they were going to look for an owner for these kittens; however, I decided to adopt one more, one identical to his mother. I present to you the son of my cat.
I currently have one more cat, because another kitten I had was given to a friend who came to visit me and fell in love with the kitten, so I gave it to her. My cat likes company so this kitten will be good for her as a companion.
I don't know what to name her yet, but I'll come up with one. He's barely a day old in the house, but I know he's a male so I need to find a male name for him.
Because he is small, he is very annoying and loud. He keeps meowing and meowing all day long, as if he is trying to tell me something.
Everywhere I go, he follows me, as if I were his mom. This behavior doesn't surprise me because he is alone now, unlike when he was at my grandmother's, with his 3 other siblings and his mom. Although here he is technically not alone, the only cat company he has is my cat and she avoids him and hits him when he comes near her, so he only hangs out with me.
I remember that when he arrived he was very scared, like every cat that has just arrived to a house. He was shivering and no wonder, because here in my house it is very cold at this time of the year.
It didn't take him long to find a shelter to fight the cold, that shelter was the back of the fridge. He has spent most of the day there, because it is the only place with a pleasant temperature to be, the rest of the house is all cold and I have no problem, because I love the cold.

In terms of age, the kitten is just over two months old. Although he is small, he is very active. Although at the beginning he was scared and hid all the time, the truth is that when he gained confidence he started to run around the house and he has been doing that all day long.
Like all cats, he also jumps and climbs the furniture he can reach, even climbing on the tables where I have some ornaments. Of course, when he finds a nice place there he stays still, as if he were an ornament.
I'm going to be very honest, it was very, very hard for me to take these pictures because the kitten is restless all day long, so when he managed to stay still that's when I took advantage of the opportunity to take the pictures.
To be honest, I managed to take about 30 pictures of him, but the only ones that came out well were the ones I share with you in this post.
He is the new member of my family, a kitten that I will have to take care of as well as I have taken care of the others I have had. Soon I will take him to the vet to see what he says about if I can deworm him, because he is small, but he will say if it is possible or not.
For now this kitten will have to get used to his new home and my cat will have to accept her new companion....

Hace un tiempo les comenté que una de mis gatas había tenido cuatro gatitos. Pues bien, ya ha pasado un mes desde entonces y los gatitos han crecido bastante en comparación a como estaban en esos tiempos.

Evidentemente iban a buscarle dueño a estos gatitos; sin embargo, yo decidí adoptar a uno mas, uno idéntico a su madre. Les presento pues, al hijo de mi gata.
Actualmente tengo una gata más, porque otro gatito que tenía se lo regalé a una amiga que vino a visitarme y se enamoró del gatito, así que se lo regalé. A mi gata le gusta la compañía así que este gatito le vendrá bien como acompañante.
Aún no sé que nombre ponerle, pero ya se me ocurrirá uno. Apenas tiene un día en la casa, pero sé que es macho así que debo buscarle un nombre de macho.
Como está pequeño, es muy molesto y escandaloso. Se la pasa todo el día maullando y maullando, como si estuviera tratando de decirme algo.
A donde sea que voy, me sigue, como si fuese su mamá. Esta conducta no me extraña porque ahora está solo, a diferencia de cuando estaba donde mi abuela, con sus otros 3 hermanos y su mamá. Aunque aquí técnicamente no está solo, la única compañía gatuna que tiene es la de mi gata y ella lo evita y le pega cuando se le acerca, así que solo anda conmigo.
Recuerdo que cuando llegó estaba muy asustado, como todo gato recién llegado a una casa. Estaba temblando y no me extraña, porque aquí en mi casa hace mucho frio en esta época del año.
No tardó en encontrar un refugio para hacerle contra al frio, ese refugio fue la parte trasera de la nevera. Se la ha pasado casi todo el día ahí, porque es el único lugar con una temperatura agradable para estar, el resto de la casa es todo fría y yo no tengo problemas, proque me encanta el frío.

En cuanto a edad, el gatito tiene poco más de dos meses. A pesar de que está pequeño, es muy activo. Aunque en un comienzo estaba asustado y se la pasaba escondido, lo cierto es que cuando tomó confianza comenzó a correr por toda la casa y así se la ha pasado todo el día.
Como todo gato, también salta y escala los muebles que alcanza, subiéndose incluso a las mesas donde tengo algunos adornos. Eso sí, cuando encuentra un lugar agradable ahí se queda quietesito, como si fuese un adorno.
Les voy a ser muy sincero, me costó mucho, pero MUCHO, tomar estas fotos porque el gatito anda inquieto todo el día, así que cuando lograba quedarse quieto era cuando aprovechaba y le tomaba las fotos.
Para ser sincero, logré tomarle como 30 fotos, pero las únicas que salieron bien fueron las que comparto con ustedes en esta publicación.
Es el nuevo miembro de mi familia, un gatito que deberé atender tan bien como he atendido a los otros que he tenido. Pronto lo llevaré al veterinario a ver qué me dice sobre si puedo desparasitarlo, porque está pequeño, pero él dirá si se puede o no.
Por ahora a este gatito le toca acostumbrarse a su nuevo hogar y a mi gata le tocará aceptar a su nuevo compañerito...
