Hello @hivewatchers, @guiltyparties,@Logic
Is @spaminator also one of you? If so, I have a question. If not, please forward it. You seem to know each other.
I usually post in German. But some posts, be it about travel or reviews or other, more than simple pictures with flowers, I like to write bilingual.
- I think that these posts are also interesting and/or entertaining for non-Germans
- My social media crowd consists of 70 percent non-Germans and I want to make reading my posts as enjoyable as possible. I know my English is far from that of an English native, but it's still better than English made by Google.
see it here:

Unfortunately, such posts are usually too long to fit in two languages in one post.
A post with more than 1000 characters or more than 10 pictures does not fit into this time, especially if it is supposed to entertain and sell and half of the post is foreign in language.
Another point is, that bilingual posts on Medium and Travelfeed are not welcome.
On my own blog I will also separate the languages completely. It's just more polite to the readers.
If you want to know what type of posts, check on travelfeed at @dirkzett.
What do I have to do so that @spaminator does not downvote one of such linguistically different double posts?
- I don't want to become a candidate for lists of plagiarists or spammers.
- I don't want the received votes to disappear, that's unfair to the voters.
- I don't want to post a variant for nothing. I work on such posts for several hours.
- I want to reach people in German and in English and also those who translate an English post into their language and then read it. If you ever read something that would automatically translate from German to Thai or Spanish, you know why.
- But I also don't want to reduce the reading pleasure of my German-speaking readers.
I am curious about your answer
and would be happy if it is not :
" There is nothing we can do because @spaminator is too unfexible for that."
With @cheetah a message was enough, then you could post posts with the same content , but different languages.
