A few hours ago the Hive Thrive Event was held in the HIVE Discord server and @mynewlife and @hallmann were the guests. The Session was great! Thanks for that.
When I was alone with @tibfox in the voice channel after the session, we chatted a bit... dear @tibfox mentioned that dear @buttcoins wanted to create a Hive account per room for his rooms in Guatemala. I must have overheard this during the Hive Thrive or was not really present - but tibfox and I had a closer look at it afterwards and tibfox brought the idea of a guestbook on the Hive Blockchain into play for each room at @buttcoins. He said that you could create a kind of QR code with which a guest of the room can leave a blog post about their visit to buttcoins. Share their thoughts and experiences with the hive community. But an account must also be able to post - with a posting key and also get post payouts for the active key... so it was a bit more difficult and I thought about it briefly and quickly came up with an idea for buttcoins:
So, let's assume that each room has its own HIVE account with all the keys that belong to an account. Now an app would have to be written that makes it possible, when you scan a QR code, an experience report mask appears where the guest of the room writes an article. My idea here was directly that an HIVE account can effectively hold several valid keys - e.g. a room account in this case 5000 valid posting keys, which were added to the account with the active key. If the user now publishes an article, one of the 5000 valid posting keys is taken and used to sign and post the article. After the guest has moved out or after the post has been created, a script running on a server uses the active key to delete the posting key that has just been used and can no longer be used. I can imagine that you can also develop a system where one of the valid posting keys is already assigned to the guest on the QR code portal at check-in. The only thing you have to consider here is that the guest can only use the QR code or post with a key once instead of using up all the posting keys over and over again and spamming up the room's guestbook.
Greetings
