Pretty much the same post my fellow kentuckian bowentroyer made about cows a couple weeks ago. This is our small horned runt ewe and a nice size one day old lamb. I have ewes that weigh twice as much as she does, but I am certain she eats half as much as they do. She has a huge single every year, and I am certain this lamb will weight 65 pounds on nothing but hay come October. If I sold her she might bring 50$. Eyes can lie when it comes to animal production.
Happy homesteading!
