Hello everyone

In the last blogs we have covered the reached the first ever professional game against different club teams and how it went and in the earlier parts I have tried to cover the story of how, when, and what aroused my interest in the sport cricket. I would recommend the new readers to please check the previous edition/part of series of emerging player of the year to get a better understanding of the whole story. I will add the the links of the previous blogs at bottom of this blog. So let's continue our story.
After our 4th game all the teams from tournament were really looking forward to play against us. After that match our entire team especially me myself didn't look back we sailed the tough tides pretty easily we were favourites for wining the tournament and we were winning games after games I was man of the match of my first 2 game with total 7 wickets and economy of 4.03, winning was really easy untill our 9th game when we faced a real challenge, when our second fast bowler my partner got worn out due to heat stroke and humidity.

After the loss of another fast bowler and figuring of my playing style it was a big downfall for us as we lost one of the big member of the bowling unit and we had limited option for fast bowling which was our strength. But we had to go for an extra all-rounder with spin bowling type for the rest of the tournament which actually made the bowling a little off because of which the regular interval of fall of wickets were hault in the game and even more runs were putted by the opponent batsmen but despite all of the efforts we lost the 9th game by just 3 runs.
Though through the entire tournament after loosing our 2 main fast bowlers we managed to reach finals with having the bowling and fielding unit our main strength. The finals was pretty one sided with my team winning the toss and choosing bowl first and I took 5 wickets in the finals, my first 5 wicket haul and that too in the finals of the tournament. Because of the extra ordinary, dominating bowling performance the opponent could only managed to give a target of 212 in 50 overs with their entire team getting out. And my team managed to reach the target in just 42 overs with the loss of 4 wickets, and I was named as the emerging player of the year at the end of the year with the year stats of total 52 innings(in 50 overs match) having bowling economy of 5.38, and 72 wickets taken , with 4 3-wicket haul and 1 5-wicket haul. And that's how I was named Emerging Player Of The Year
So that's was the story all of it, untill next time this is @furiousboy signing off for the day.
