Dignity of labor
There are many who do menial jobs
that which some of us may never even want to talk about
life is not 'rosy' for all
people have to live the hard way
and yet they are the ones who make it 'easy' for all
let us not slight such workers
let us not 'cast them away'
let them not feel 'outcastes'
let them not bear the brunt all the way
using our 'brains'
technology developed in such a way
let us make life easier
for such people, I pray
Note - This was inspired after watching a video shared by the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala about four young entrepreneurs who 'build' an Iron man styled suit and later remodeled it to help 'manhole cleaning'. This suit helps the worker a great deal and he does not have to enter the hold himself. I hope this is adopted by other states in our country

I write poems to express myself. I started writing at the age of twelve or so and some of my poems were published in magazines for children, a time when print still ruled the world. The internet and the blogging world has helped me write poems. Most of it was as I wrote earlier, to express myself and my thoughts. I have also been a ghostwriter.
Steemit has helped me write with freedom and also earned me very good friends who encourage me to write. I hope my readers will support me and also join in this contest. I am not a student of literature and so I do not consider myself an expert in poetry. It is the judge who will decide.
