Today I am going to discuss my least favorite of the pills. It is my least favorite because I don't know how to explain it very well. Today's topic is
If People 'Hate On You', You Are On The Right Path
Churchill famously said and we're paraphrasing...'If you have someone that hates you, it means you have stood up for something in your life. Welcome to haters. They become fuel to your determination!
I think that hate probably comes from jealousy or envy. As you reach a level of success, 'haters' will enter your life. These tend to be people who are jealous of your accomplishments.
It is easy to let these people get you down. Understandably, we don't like when others are mean to us or don't like us. The reality, though, is that having these haters around us is almost inevitable, especially true upon achieving success. Therefore, the options are to either let them affect you or take advantage of the situation.
Here are 10 ways you can take advantage by using your haters as fuel for your success:
- Understand that it means you are doing things right
- Learn from their attitudes to be more accepting of others
- Use their criticism as a way to evaluate yourself
- Be more humble
- Use them to learn how to deal with conflict
- Learn to control your anger
- Use them to learn how to ignore negative influences
- Utilize them to become more independent thinking
- Allow them to motivate you
- Appreciate your victories
You should be proud of what you are able to achieve throughout your life. Your haters can serve as a reminder to appreciate these victories and be grateful for all the good you are fortunate to have
