To fall into the trap of mundane routines of ordinary human fellows in your society is the greatest enemy of your destiny and eventual success.
Your mood greatly contributes to your productivity. One could argue that depression is a killer of creativity and innovation, to the point of rendering your thoughts blank and your words empty by its fearful grasp.
In this article, we will talk about how your general mood affects your productivity.
As you slip further from your true identity, the talons of depression will close in and trap you in their cage of burdensome existence.
Identity is the most important thing in the fight against depression.
A person who knows their place in life and what they want or have to become, what they must accomplish, and how they must live their everyday routine, are as steadfast and bold as they are determined and unrelenting.
This is not to say that everyone who has ever struggled with depression has had an identity crisis.
It is just to say that for some people, not knowing who they are and what they must do with their life is the main reason for depression and lack of productivity.
Some people do not find the state of their life favorable or interesting enough for their seeking souls. They lack the adventure that would vitalize their thoughts and give them enough to fight back against their illness.
A purpose to existence. A reason to fight. That is all any of us really wants. When we have that, everything else falls in order and we will experience a level of clarity that was unbeknownst to us before.
Whatever it is that gives you sleepless nights and makes you feel sad and empty inside, you need to understand that this depression will slow you down.
Not a lot of people who deal with this illness understand how adversely is it affecting their health and how ruthlessly is it killing their every bright and innovative idea!
As Laurel K. Hamilton once said:
‘There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds.’
Depression is a powerful enemy. But in order to start fighting it with determination, you need to understand how slowly it is destroying your life and productivity.
If you have ever had a goal or a dream that you were to afraid or depressed to follow, know that your general mood affects that decision. Fight your depression and free yourself of unease, fear, and doubt.
