Hello, dear Steemians!
There are many factors that contribute to one’s success in life. In our previous articles, we have talked about the ways with which you can achieve your goals, like the things you have to do every morning, or how you should bring consistency to your schedule, or how you must change your mindset in order to see your goals as they are and strive in a proper path to realize them.
But like many things, success is a coin with two sides. One side is for the people who see you and your success; how you have achieved great things and how prosperous your life appears as a result of that.
But the other side of that coin is pain and misery; the pain and misery that we will have to go through to achieve success.
Reminding yourself of the pain and misery is often difficult. Many people do not like to talk about this aspect of going after your dreams. One of the most inspiring qualities of successful people is that they all love pain.
That must be a weird sentence to hear, but bear with me as I make this case.
People judge your success with what they see; they know that you have achieved something of true value and as a result of that, your life has improved for better.
Even more inspiring might be the idea that you have also changed many lives with the things you have done or said.
These people always fail to see what you must have gone through to arrive at the place you are now. For them, the idea of success is not something afflicted with pain, and that is why they will never achieve success for themselves.
Learn to love the pain.
Know that the pain of doing something difficult will always be rewarded.
Understand that in order to achieve great things, you must be willing to go to great lengths and pay the price of greatness.
A man who decides to go to the gym and work out has a tough week ahead of him. Perhaps after the first day of working out he will feel pain throughout his body, but that does not stop him, nor does it disappoint him. He does not so easily give in.
Because he knows a principle that we all fail to see. He knows that pain is temporary, while grace is everlasting. To achieve grace, one must be willing to tolerate the pain of the journey.
Obstacles give you challenge and pain, but try to channel that energy into creative force and learn to love the pain that you are going through.
After all, no growth of any measure or value has ever been achieved without pain or hard and difficult work.
The fruit of your endeavors will be to eventually rid yourself of the pain and cherish the result of your achievement and victory.
If you truly want to understand what it takes to be successful, learn to love the pain and fearlessly enter the path that begins your journey towards realizing your dreams!!!!
