We miss so many great authors here on Steemit!
And that is exactly the point of this weekly report! Every week I am featuring authors on Steemit I feel have not gotten the publicity they deserve and I think are poised for an imminent breakout.
Every "minnow" is unique and brings their own amazing point of view. They may have been referred to me by others, or just have a style that touches many in the way they write. Most have steadily improved in their writing, have earned about less than 1 million vests, and they all probably deserved much more attention than they actually received at first glance.
If the author has done an #introduceyourself post, I will default to using one of those photos in their description. I will also point out a post, or series of posts I enjoyed from them the most.
As a reminder, each featured author will split all SBD generated from this Minnow Report post.

Post that stands out:
The 1st Steemit Fitness Challenge - 20 Years Out Of Shape - WORKOUT 005
I have been following Kent, aka @winstonwolfe, almost since I have been on Steemit. He has said before that Steemit is his "side hustle," but he sure has been putting in the time and effort to make this more than just that.
Just one look through his blog, and you will see a wide range of posts on topics from photography to fitness. When I put together this post every week, I always take a look at the author's wallet just to make sure they qualify for minnow status. I was absolutely shocked when I saw he qualified. His posts are that good.
I was initially drawn to @winstonwolfe through his posts about his family and particularly about his son on the autism spectrum. I too have a son on the spectrum and his raw and honest posts about this issue really connected with my feelings and experiences.
Recently, @winstonwolfe has been branching out into the undertagged #fitness category, engaging in a series of workout challenges to whip himself back into shape. I only featured his fifth video, but you should seriously should check out every one of them. I am in awe of his talent at making these things! The amount of time and effort it must have taken to edit is crazy. I admire the efforts he is taking to produce original and awesome content for this community. I also admire his perseverance to accomplish his physical fitness goals.
If you haven't had the chance to check it out, he is also part of one of the popular podcasts making its way around the community, Steemit Talk. Check it out!
@brendandekora
Post that stands out:
Santa Monica tour
@brendandekora is talented musician, recording engineer, and photographer. He has been in the recording industry for over 15 years and works at a top studio in Hollywood, CA. His post on doing portraits over landscapes is what initially caught my eye, but I was absolutely floored at his other pieces when I went through his blog.
I admire artistic talent so much, and I think @brendandekora has it in spades. I have read every one of his posts and get the feeling he is being too modest about his talents. I am really looking forward to more of his art in the future, and would love to see him talk more about his experiences in the recording industry.

Post that stands out:
Experiment: Finish My New Song With Me
Caleb, when he was 5 years old, went with his family on a full-time music ministry mission. They grew up essentially living on a Bus! He is now married, has three kids, and is part of a global non-profit working out of Africa.
His story behind this is really awesome, and it was almost featured on a TLC show called Home Sweet Bus (it was cancelled).
It is however, his series of recent posts that really have me intrigued. Caleb is crowdsourcing an completely original song with lyrics generated from Steemit comments. I love this idea, and he seems to be embracing it with open arms, engaging with the community every step of the way.
I really believe Caleb is poised for a big breakout soon. I'm excited to see just where the community feedback will drive his music in the future!
That's it for this week! Please tune in next week for our next batch!
