Esta es mi propuesta para el desafío #monomad: La Pared,
no me permite ver, pero no puede evitar que mi imaginación vuele más allá.
El maravilloso poema de Giacomo Leopardi viene a mi mente.
El infinitoEspero que te guste esta foto.
Siempre querido me fue este solitario cerro
y este seto que tanta parte
del último horizonte la mirada excluye.
Mas, sentado y mirando interminables
espacios de allá lejos, y sobrehumanos
silencios y su hondísima quietud,
me quedo enmimismado hasta que casi
el corazón se teme. Y como el viento
cuyo tráfago escucho entre las hojas, a este
silencio sin fin esta voz
voy comparando: y me acuerdo de lo eterno
y de las muertas estaciones y la presente y viva,
y sus sonidos. Así a través de esta
inmensidad se anega el pensamiento mío;
y naufragar me es dulce en este mar.

it does not allow me to see, but it cannot prevent my imagination from flying over. The wonderful poem by Giacomo Leopardi comes to mind
The infinityHope you like this shot.This solitary hill has always been dear to me
and this hedge, which prevents me from seeing most of
the endless horizon.
but when I sit and gaze, I imagine, in my thoughts,
endless spaces beyond the hedge,
an all encompassing silence and a deeply profound quiet,
to the point that my heart is quite overwhelmed.
And when I hear the wind rustling through the trees
I compare its voice to the infinite silence.
And eternity occurs to me, and all the ages past,
and the present time, and its sound.
Amidst this immensity my thought drowns:
and to flounder in this sea is sweet to me.

La mia proposta per il #monomad challenge: Il Muro,
Dalla finestra della mia stanza mi affaccio su uno spazio dove si erge questo muro, non mi permette di vedere, ma non può impedire che la mia immaginazione voli oltre.
Mi viene in mente la splendida poesia di Giacomo Leopardi
