I'm a cautious person, and I'm Jewish, so let me just say for the record that I do not part with my money easily. It's a big deal when I decide to invest what little money I have and I'm not one for just climbing onto the bandwagon when there's hype. I am very excited about NEO. For those of you who don't know, NEO is the re-branding of what used to be called Antshares. To many people it is being called the "Ethereum" of China. It offers smart contracts just like Ethereum. Now the last few days if you haven't noticed, there has been a huge price spike in NEO, although today there has been a bit of a pullback. Some people call it hype, I call it well deserved and still think the price is way too low.
Now first off, China has about 1.4 Billion People, which is more than 4 times the population of the United States. The world’s most intelligent country is Hong Kong which is technically part of China, and the average person there has an IQ of 107. China is a thriving business community and there are many opportunities for smart contracts. Like our current world, different communities use different currencies, I expect the same thing to happen in the cryptocurrency world. There is plenty of room for more than one or two dominant currencies.
One major advantage that NEO has over Ethereum is that your NEO produces something called GAS, which is basically like a dividend from stocks. This basically means that you gain money just from holding it. I really like this, because it promotes people to hold NEO long term, and not just pump and dump it. I am somewhat concerned about Ethereum having major banks that own such a major stake of Ethereum. One day the banks might just decide to crash the price like they did several months ago during the Ethereum flash crash. This idea of dividends helps to act as an incentive and motivator to hold which keeps the currency strong.
The second major advantage that NEO has is the ability for companies to launch ICOS on its platform, which saves time, money and energy. This is a great advantage, and could allow NEO to create valuable partnerships with new cryptocurrencies that offer amazing value before they even go public. I really like the idea of this. This will help to greater grow the community and acceptance of cryptocurrency.
I predict that within the coming weeks that the price will reach roughly 150+ per neo, and that it will become the third largest cryptocurrency by market cap. The ideas that this crypto has and the value that it brings will be a great asset in the future.
