As we all know that NEO is a crypto currency and the holders of neo receive GAS as dividends. Some of us may not know how to claim the Gas. And so I will guide you through the process. Claiming gas is easy.
Process.
1) Your first step is to download the NEO wallet for your computer or laptop. The app is available for Windows, Apple, Linux and Android.
- In order to download for windows Click Here
- To download for Mac Click Here. To Download for Linux Click Here
- If you want to download the app for Android, then Click on the link from your android Phone. Click Here

Note: If you do not wish to use the App versions, you can still use the Web Wallet version. Click Here
Step 2:
Now choose the platform you want to use the wallet from.
(I am using the Android wallet.)
Note: While making the wallet, make sure to backup your keys and date. This is very important so that you don't lose your Money.
Step 3:
Creating an account in Windows is a bit difficult and I will guide you here.
- After installing the windows app open it and it will look like this.
- Now click on create a new wallet and it will ask you to create a passcode. You can put anything you want. After writing your phrase, click "generate keys".
- Next, you will be given your keys. So make sure you have backed them up and kept them somewhere safe.
- Now after you have saved and backed up everything, click "back". Then click "Login using Private key". (Hope you had saved them.)
- After all then you will have a new wallet ready and it is easy to use.
Now once you have successfully created the wallet and saved your keys and date.
Go to your exchange where you have your Neo's and transfer your neo's to the wallet address.
That's it, claiming your GAS is very simple. Each wallet has the option to "Claim Gas", just click that and you'll receive them.
Your neo and gas address will be the same.
