First,I pay attention to my breathing; taking deep, mindful breaths helps to ground me by centering me and soothing my agitation.It is a straightforward exercise,but it might make a significant difference.Secondly,I welcome the chance to unplug.I take the time to listen to music,meditate,or simply reflect rather than worrying about time wasted.This time becomes an unexpected gift,a opportunity to break free from the continual bombardment of stimuli and reengage with myself.Thirdly,I appreciate the little things.Even in the traffic,I see the beauty of the sunrise,the vivid hues of the city,or the friendly smiles of fellow passengers.These brief moments of joy help to change my view and appreciate the beauty that still remains,even in the midst of turmoil.
Lastly,I tell myself that this too will pass.Like most other things in life,the traffic is temporary.It is a reminder to release things we cannot control and concentrate on those we can,like our own inner peace.While Zamboanga City traffic might be a test of patience,it is also a chance to practice mindfulness and embrace the art of slow living.It reminds us that peace comes from within,and even in the midst of turmoil,we can locate periods of calm and self-connection.It is not about running away from the chaos but rather finding peace in it.
