A Café Blacklist - nice! We have a few here, with way too much staff for the shitty quality they offer, both restaurants and cafés. First thing people say about them - "oh, they launder money". No real business can survive that long being that bad without some serious cash influx from somewhere...
Anyway, I dropped by a place that was open for a year now, to check it out. Coffee was decent, the barrista is a very nice guy. It's a café on my way to work - which is not long, like 200m from house to bakery. But the coffee is good for the price, and he fills up my to-go-cup to the top, and seems to love coffee. He had me smell a peaberry-medium/dark roast today that he kept as his personal stash. Maybe, if I become a regular, he'll let me try it. It did smell really good.
