Hi!
This is sort of a follow-up post to my Noise.app & Leo Threads article. Now I'm going to take a closer look at the financial side of Noise.app, rewards, and my future plans with it.
First of all, just like on Hive, I've set some Noise goals:
- Short-term: gain 200 followers by the end of November, right now I'm at 80
- Long-term: reach 1 BCH in rewards
Is It Paying Off?
On Noise.app I've set up my Hive-engine BCH address so I'll be receiving rewards in SWAP.BCH several times a day. To be honest, I'm not quite sure how the rewards are calculated. Even though the amount of followers is constantly rising and I've been quite active each day, I haven't seen a significant rise in paid rewards. It might be a fixed amount that correlates with the price of BCH.
Still, I'm definitely not complaining, on contrary, the rewards are pretty awesome. In the picture below you can see my rewards just from the 5th of November:
I've been using the app for 10 days now and it has paid me 0.03463504 BCH in rewards. The value of that in USD is $4.912 at the moment.
What I'm Going To Do With Rewards
My first plan was to immediately sell BCH for HIVE. Then again, when I checked the price of Bitcoin Cash($122 atm) I thought this would actually be a great time to accumulate more and more of it.
I remember that about a year ago the price of BCH was somewhere around $600 during the bull run. So if and when the next bull starts, there could be plenty of room for BCH to gain value. Also, despite some issues with the SmartBCH I still believe in BCH. Transactions are fast and extremely cheap and it still has many use cases on SmartBCH.
So my ambitious goal is to get 1 BCH and hopefully the market and BCH have recovered by then and I could make some serious profits and then invest those in Hive.
Synergy
In my previous post Noise.app & Leo Threads I was writing about the potential synergy between Hive and Noise.app. I was hoping that we would get Noise.app users to onboard Hive. I don't know if that has happened but what I know is that I met new people over there who are also using Hive and connected with them!
Talking about connecting, it isn't that easy Noise.app because you can only comment on someone's post if he or she is following you back. This can sometimes be a little frustrating when you come across a true gem of a post and there is no way to comment on that. On the other hand, this really reduces spammy comments and gives the app this unique feel. And just like with Hive, being active and engaging pays off eventually and you'll get those followers.
Conclusion
Noise.app has become a big part of daily engaging routines and a small stream of extra income too. It's an invite-only app but there is an embedded invitation here, hope to see you there! And if you are already using the app but are still reading this, then follow me so I can comment on your amazing content! Thank you for reading!
