In this battle I am going to use a cunning plan - Reverse psychology Let me explain. If your magic is going to get reflected you would not use any magic monster, everyone knows that. But, if you give every one of your monsters the void, ability Haha magic reflect does no damage. Well, that's my plan anyway.

How Did the Battle Go
As expected, I did not see many magic monsters, and few melee either. He must have seen my earlier post on the range attack tactic because that was his main attack. That post talks about playing the close-range rule set. This battle had it. I also see a speed push as well. For sure he would get a few misses and that's a valid method. Magic does not miss (unless you have phase ability)
Again my go-to method of high-health tanks supported by healers played out as I wanted it to in this one. It might have been different if he focused all his attack on the front card. He would have taken it down (maybe) his sniper did a small amount of damage that got fixed by my triage healer
The randomness of a scattershot worked in my favour to spread the shatter if nothing else. Notice the cheeky affliction right at the end, the icing on the cake. Or insult to injury.

Lessons to Take Away
Think outside of the normal. If it seems crazy to lead with magic. Lead with magic, but don't get reckless. I get it not everyone has a level 3 Immortalis. Rent one for 6c per day and give him a test drive. why not, he is a great summoner.
I will also touch on the strengthen ability. I look for this when I am picking my tank, always looking to get the health stats to be divisible by three. You can restore that much life on every healing "one-third". So 9 health gets three 12 health gets 4 and 15 health get 5.
What I'm saying is that you need some method to your madness, I want to keep my tank in the game for as long as possible. Remember to Add a health point to your team. Remove an enemy's health point. Something that is not talked about much but plays a key role in every battle.
