El miércoles 13 de noviembre, celebramos el cumpleaños de @enmy haciendo lo que más nos gusta; promocionar a nuestra blockchain de Hive desde nuestro proyecto @rutablockchain.
Mis expectativas fueron fácilmente superadas con lo que pude vivir ese día. Lo primero es que pensaba que era otro Shark Tank que había visto en Twitter en días pasados, no la franquicia original de televisión que conoces, sino una copia de baja calidad que es objeto de muchas burlas. Por ese lado fue un alivio. Aunque no esta tampoco es el original, está en mejor nivel.
Las instalaciones son extraordinarias. Primera vez que iba al IESA y me impactó lo grande que es y la cantidad de auditorios que tienen, de todas las formas y tamaños. En el que vimos la presentación de seis emprendimientos, estaba en perfecto estado y con un aire acondicionado que congelaba.
Todos los emprendimientos obtuvieron financiamiento o negociaciones para obtenerlos. Desde $10K que fue el que menos pedía, hasta $250K el que más. La dinámica me gustó y las preguntas estaban dirigidas a ver si financiaban. Aunque algo que me pareció un poco extraño, es que ninguno fue duramente criticado ni corregido. Es como si ya hubiesen pasado un filtro y estuviera gran parte preparado.
Me vi mucho presentando a Hive a los tiburones como escribí hace años. Lo cierto es que cada vez me acerco más de hacerlo realidad.
Después pasamos a la vitrina emprendedora. Cuando montamos nuestro stand, vimos que estaba vacía de negocios. Además casi no había público. Pensamos que sería una tortura estar ahí. Sin embargo nunca paramos de hablar. Siempre estuvimos ocupados con alguien. Además que vimos mucho más interés. Adoptamos un gimnasio de niños espaciales, que también trabaja con adultos. La semana que viene tendremos la primera reunión para establecer una hoja de ruta.
Otra persona que tiene una comunidad de emprendimiento y que por cierto ya conocía a Hive de otro evento. También se acercó un corredor que nos conoció en la carrera de Senos Salud, a la que fuimos como patrocinantes. Da alegría ver cómo nos comienzan a reconocer en todas partes.
Este evento fue muy productivo. Por supuesto que ahora falta el seguimiento y ver que todo se concrete...

However, we never stopped talking. We were always busy with someone. Plus we saw a lot more interest. We adopted a space kids gym, which also works with adults. Next week we will have the first meeting to establish a roadmap.
Another person who has an entrepreneurship community and by the way already knew Hive from another event. We were also approached by a runner who met us at the Senos Salud race, which we sponsored. It is great to see how we are beginning to be recognized everywhere.
This event was very productive. Of course, now we need to follow up and see that everything becomes a reality...
