Greetings hivers. Several of you have already read my indisputable best purchase, but I have many that belong to very remembered moments in my life and that those products, fruits of those purchases, accompanied me for a long time, sharing special moments that I remember with affection.
This is the case of a Totto backpack that I bought in Panama and that even survived a robbery, where other items I carried were not so lucky.
In 2014 I went to "try my luck" in Panama. Actually I already had a job offered, so I traveled with my girlfriend to live a great adventure.
When I arrived I started to see some strange things in who would be my boss. I didn't specify anything about my job, making the time go by. That worried me and I started to think that I had changed my mind. As it turned out, my relationship with my girlfriend was coming to an end.
I decided that the best thing to do was to return to Venezuela, which she did not like. That added more problems to a dying relationship. However, between the two of us we decided that we were no longer doing anything in Panama and we started the process of returning.
In order not to pay for the extra weight, I had to buy a handbag, since from Venezuela to Panama they allowed more luggage, but on the contrary, they did not and the excess was paid for dearly.
We went to the closest and easiest store; besides that it is a brand that I like and has excellent quality. I looked for a big backpack where I could fit enough to save weight and also to fit my 17" laptop, which almost did not fit in my last backpack.
I bought a $70 backpack, which I thought was a bit expensive, since two years before I had bought a big bag for that price. However, the quality showed me over time that it was a wonderful purchase, because I have 6 years with it and it is as good as new.
With this backpack I have traveled to Chile and again to Panama. I have used it daily to transport material from work. Also to carry market purchases and always with a lot of weight. I even took it on an excursion to the mountains.

Resisting crime
One night, while I was withdrawing money from an ATM; two men got off a motorcycle to rob me. They poured a liquid into my eyes with which I could not see well. They took my backpack and phone.
When I recovered, I got in the car and drove away. While I was driving, I saw the backpack lying on the pavement. My surprise was incredible. I think that out of anger that they didn't find anything of value inside the backpack, they threw it away in a rage.
Only the backpack and the car were saved from that assault, since they were on a motorcycle to steal small items. My cell phone was stolen and curiously enough I had also bought it in Panama, in the same mall where I bought my Totto backpack.
A phone is a powerful tool, but I assure you that a backpack is too. I cannot quantify what this backpack has saved me and how useful it has been in my life, but one thing is clear to me; the phone will no longer be useful to me today in the year 2020 and I will continue to use the backpack and it will last me for many years to come?

Es el caso de un morral Totto que compré en Panamá y que incluso sobrevivió a un asalto, donde no corrieron con tanta suerte otros artículos que cargaba encima.
En el año 2014 fui a "probar suerte" en Panamá. En realidad ya tenía un trabajo ofrecido, así que viajé con mi novia para vivir una gran aventura.
Cuando llegué comencé a ver algunas cosas extrañas en quien sería mi jefe. No concretaba nada sobre mi trabajo, haciendo que el tiempo corriera. Eso me preocupó y empecé a pensar que había cambiado de opinión. Resultó que fue así y sumado a eso la relación con mi novia estaba llegando a su fin.

Para no pagar el peso extra, yo tenía que comprar un bolso de mano, ya que de Venezuela a Panamá permitían más equipaje, pero al contrario no y el exceso se paga caro.
Fuimos a la tienda más cercana y fácil; además que de una marca que me gusta y que tiene excelente calidad. Busqué un morral grande donde cupiera bastante para ahorrar peso y además para que entre mi lapto de 17", que casi no cabía en mi último morral.
Compré uno de $70 USD, algo que me pareció un poco costoso, ya que dos años antes había comprado una maleta grante por ese precio. Sin embargo la calidad me demostró con el tiempo que fue una compra maravillosa, porque tengo 6 años con él y está como nuevo.
Con este morral he viajado a Chile y de nuevo a Panamá. Lo he usado a diario para transportar material del trabajo. También para llevar la compra del mercado y siempre con mucho peso. Incluso lo llevé de excusrsión a la montaña.

Una noche, mientras sacaba dinero de un cajero; dos hombres bajaron de una moto para robarme. Me echaron un líquido en los ojos con el que no podía ver bien. Me quitaron el morral y el teléfono.
Cuando me recuperé, me monté en el auto y me fui de ahí. Mientras conducía vi el morral tirado en el pavimento. Mi sorpresa fue increíble. Pienso que de la rabia de no encontrar nada de valor dentro del morral, lo lanzaron con furia.
De ese asaltó solo se salvó el morral y el auto, ya que ellos iban en moto para robar artículos pequeños. El teléfono celular me lo robaron y curiosamente también lo había comprado en Panamá, en el mismo centro comercial donde compré mi morral Totto.
Un teléfono es una herramienta poderosa, pero te aseguro que un morral también lo es. No puedo cuantificar lo que me ha ahorrado este morral y lo útil que ha sido en mi vida, pero algo sí me queda claro; el teléfono ya no me serviría hoy en el año 2020 y el morral lo sigo usando y me durará muchos años más...
