Love what you do
Crypto of course, is the icing (with the cherry on top) when combined with blogging. I've never been happier to wake up with an idea for my next post and live my passion as a creator. What's that old saying? "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." That's exactly what I feel when putting digital pen to paper and contributing to helping grow this platform in our little corner of the cryptoverse.
Part of the problem on Blogger was that I couldn't escape the knowledge that I was creating for someone else who could just delete everything that I worked for at a moments notice. I've shared with you how creative I had to get when someone began copying my posts, and the parent company wanted me to fill out a long form to report each and every blog post that he'd expropriated. It seemed strange to me that they couldn't just visit his site and see for themselves how he'd scraped my content, while stripping out my byline and presenting my writing as his own.
It's one of the things that caused me to step away from blogging for awhile. But lo and behold, years later someone came up with a brilliant idea to marry blogging and cryptocurrency, thus what became Hive, was born. Now I have the freedom to create to my hearts content as a member of a growing community at the leading edge of the crypto revolution.

I create because I enjoy the process of taking that blank screen and creating something where nothing existed before. If I get run over by a cement mixer, a little piece of me will remain on the blockchain in the form of my content for others to enjoy long after I'm gone.
I have every confidence that despite this current rough patch, we will be back on the pathway showing strong support for our token and the various tribes growing out of it. I can still remember the day I left and thinking "wouldn't it be great if creators had a home where they could benefit from a thriving community of like-minded people without feeling like a cog in a giant corporate machine?" And now we have it here on Hive.
