A Conversation with an Indian: How Cryptos Change His Life

Earlier today i had an interesting conversation via Telegram. A guy approached me for an NFT trade which went pretty smooth so everyone was happy.

While doing the trade i noticed that he was new because he had no clue as to how he can do the trade without any problems. Think of it like this, when you do a trade you can choose the nft that you want and the nft you will give.

Then if the other guy clicks accept, the trade will happen, refuse for not happening and counter offer for him to "change the terms". So that guy was basically transferring his card to me without taking anything back.

In other words, i and everyone else that he was trading could simply keep the card and give him nothing. It's like we have a deal for 100 leo and 200 hive. You send me the 100 leo and i simply keep them :P

Anyways i explained to him how this works, had a little conversation about Nfts in general and learned that he is from India. He asked me whether i have invested in other cryptos and then we had a crypto conversation.

Turns out the guy was an early investor to eth, bnb and 2 other coins i had never heard of. Ahh he had around 15 Dot as well. Note that by an early investor that doesn't mean that he is rich or something, but given his financials he bought just a few or a fraction of it and he is now enjoying the profits. He discovered eth when it was 300$

Now he is trying to get into the Nft space and given his account, which you can actually see like in Hive/Leo in a way, he had spent close to 50$ in NFTs.

After that, we got a generic conversation about India in where he said, that things, as we all know, are pretty bad but nowadays there are many "poor people" that are trying to open their own small shops instead of working with extremely low wages.

He also told me that cryptos changed his life. If he hadn't involved in cryptos he would most likely work for 200$ per month salary like his friends.

He also said that with that salary they can live but in no way they can buy a couple of things for themselves or go for vacations in other countries or have a luxurious life.

He also said that entirely with cryptos he managed to buy a laptop, a phone and he builds his house again because it was quite old and seemed like ruins.

How Cool is That?

As you can see cryptos have actually changed people's lives. We got many similar examples like this in Hive and Leo alone. I have read many posts from people in poorer countries that have managed to pay their bills, buy groceries, help out their parents, buying laptops and many more.

Cryptocurrencies have proved to be a bright hope for everyday people and change not only their lives but their mindset. For example, some of the people that are involved with cryptos have developed an entrepreneurial mindset.

They invested and keep on investing in other cryptos and crypto-related projects and they are thinking of more ways to earn money, instead of working a 9-5 job for a minimum wage and do something that most likely they don't want.

All in all people like that give me the motivation to try even more and reach new Heights. They are also the answer to those that still consider cryptos as scams or that they got no future!
