Grief doesn't just go away on its own. It takes effort and intention not to dwell on it for life. It helps to have avenues to channel one's emotional pain, like trustworthy people who help us get through it. Some cope through certain mechanisms like journaling or writing things out, art, spending time in nature, etc.
The odds of 3 events happening in a day are funny, but it happened in ours. It was a cousin's wedding and a large family reunion, lol! In the end, most of us met at the wedding, and only a few showed up in the reunion😅
