There is a project that I have always had on my radar to add in to the LBI fund, which I have finally made the firsts steps to getting us in today.
As you may have noticed, I don't mind setting up new wallets. Basically, I like segmenting our holdings with a seperate wallet for each major position. Today, I used an account creation token for our newest investment.
Introducing @lbi-pwr
The Hive Powered Ventures project, set up by @empoderat with $PWR as its token is a very fundamentally sound, long term focused project - perfect for LBI to invest in. However the small problem is that we have all our funds tied up, nothing significant available to invest. However, PWR has a great pathway set up that we can use.
The @lbi-token main account has delegated initially 2000 Hive Power to @empo.voter to begin our PWR journey. The yield on this will be around 8% soon, as emissions drop soon to be in line with curation rewards. In time, I plan to boost this delegation to scale into our position. This will begin minting us PWR - which is soft-pegged to HIVE (or at least close to HIVE).
The plan.
Grow the delegation to @empo.voter over time.
Transfer all PWR earned to @lbi-pwr
Swap half to HIVE, and add to the PWR/HIVE liquidity pool.
This will generate more PWR, which will also be compounded into the pool.
From next month, funds in the pool will earn HIVE payouts, along with PWR.
The HIVE earnings will go to the income wallet, all PWR will be compounded.
This fits in with the LBI philosophy of setting up layers of growth from an investment, before we eventually build a growing income.
The pool position will grow nice and steady, from a combination of PWR earned from the delegation, plus PWR earned from the pool. As the pool position grows, HIVE generated is the income we add to the dividend pot.
In the short term, this will be just another little blip in the LBI asset and income set-up. But, like the @lbi-eds and @lbi-dab wallets, this will grow over time to contribute another growing, passive income for LBI holders.

This level of thoughtful project development, and long term focus fits LBI perfectly, and I am personally delighted to add a PWR sub-wallet to LBI.

Yesterday, I posted about The LBI flywheel. Proving the point that the term "flywheel" is a catchy marketing phrase, that post has generated significant support, and placed LBI up near the top of trending both on Inleo's trending page, and even across HIVE in general. All from using the "flywheel" cliche.
Anyway, PWR is another cog in the LBI flywheel. A growing asset base over time, a little income (that will steadily grow) getting spit out to the income wallet to be distributed, and an ever so slightly shrinking token supply of LBI's.
I personally can't wait to see this position grow, and the @lbi-pwr wallet become a significant contributor to the success of LBI in the years ahead.
