Moon Karts: My Game Activity, Results and Rewards in Season 20
+ Focus on COLONY and SCRIPT Market Value (March 24, 2025 - April 2, 2025)
Moon Karts is entered in the list of my favorite web3 games, and when a game entertains me I also like to share my game activity, strategies, progress and game goals in my Hive blog.
Moonkarts is a Hive-based arcade race game with nice graphics and good gameplay that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
On Moon Karts the season 21 is underway and will end in about 7 days.
Although the season started almost three days ago only today I had free time to play my first seasonal races.
In the next image you can see my Kart Preset which consists of:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse
- Driver: Drift
- Accessories: Corner Demon, Easy Breeze, Grip Ease
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement
- Power Ups: Celestial Thrust, Moonfire Missile
In my opinion Moon Karts is a game that has potential because it is fun.
The only current problem is in the number of active players who are still few, and because of that the waiting time to play a race can be very long.
I am sure the development team is already thinking of a solution.
I am not a technician so I don't know what are the technical difficulties to implement some solutions to reduce the pre-race waiting time but a Moon Karts proprietary bot that plays and does not receive rewards and enters the game when the waiting time exceeds a certain time interval could be a good solution to improve the player experience and especially new players.
In my opinion it would also be very useful:
- To have in the leaderboards a counter indicating the number of races played.
- To have the possibility to see the results of the leaderboards of the previous season as on Splinterlands
Closing this small parenthesis on some aspects that can be improved on Moon Karts I show you the results and rewards that I received thanks to my game activity in the last season completed on Moon Karts, the season 20 that ended about 3 days ago.
Today I went to the Notification section to make the Claim of the season 20 rewards and to see my final season results.
In season 20 my final results were:
- 10th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8051 COLONY.
- 5th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 2043 COLONY
In season 20 I played more races compared to season 19 and my game results improved and at the same time my seasonal rewards also improved compared to the previous season.
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of the COLONY tokens and based on the market value of the HIVE token, I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 20.
Adding up the rewards from the two leaderboards, I received a total seasonal reward of 10094 COLONY = 11.60 SWAP.HIVE = $2.70
I started tracking my game rewards on Moon Karts from season 13 and in the last 8 seasons (in 80 days) I have earned 60952 COLONY = 70.09 SWAP.HIVE = $16.33
Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in season 20 and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrop as SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder today I was able to add +10191.96 COLONY (10094 COLONY + 97.96 COLONY) to my stake.
Now I have 110837.65 COLONY staked.
Now I have 99327.72 COLONY staked.
In my previous post I showed the use cases of COLONY tokens and also set a new accumulation goal of 500K COLONY staked.

Accumulating 500K COLONY is just one of my goals on Moon Karts because I also have a goal to improve my Kart Preset statistics.
To do this I have two options:
purchase individual NFTs from the Market
buy CENTAURI packs on Hive Engine
In the next days I will also evaluate whether to put up for sale the NFTs that I do not use in game and that are not in stake to produce fuel with the goal of buying NFTs/CENTAURIs to improve my Kart Preset.
Today I played 4 races and my positions were:
- 3 second places :(
- 1 first place :)
I gained a total of 2.72 COLONY and in the next two images you can see my positions in the rankings with only 4 races played when there are 7 days left until the end of the season.
I like to monitor the market value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will conclude this post with a small focus on the market value of COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens.
In the next two images you can see the changes in value in HIVE and dollars recorded by the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token over a 9-day time interval (March 24, 2025 - April 2, 2025)

Moon Karts: la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi + i miei risultati nella stagione 20
Moon Karts è entrato nella lista dei miei giochi web3 preferiti e quando un gioco mi diverte mi piace anche condividere la mia attività di gioco, le mie strategie, i miei progressi e i miei obiettivi nel mio Hive blog.
Moonkarts è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Su Moon Karts è in corso la stagione 21 che terminerà tra circa 7 giorni.
Anche se la stagione è iniziata da quasi tre giorni solo oggi ho avuto il tempo libero per giocare le mie prime corse stagionali.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere il mio Kart Preset che è composto da:

Secondo me Moon Karts è un gioco che ha potenziale perchè è divertente.
L'unico problema attuale è nel numero di giocatori attivi che sono ancora pochi e per questo motivo il tempo di attesa per giocare una corsa può essere molto lungo.
Sono sicuro che il team di sviluppo sta già pensando ad una soluzione.
Non sono un tecnico e quindi non so quali sono le difficoltà tecniche per implementare alcune soluzioni per ridurre il tempo di attesa pre-gara ma un bot proprietario di Moon Karts che gioca e non riceve ricompense e che subentra quando il tempo di attesa supera un certo intervallo di tempo potrebbe essere una buona soluzione per migliorare l'esperienza del giocatore e soprattutto dei nuovi giocatori.
Secondo me sarebbe anche molto utile:
- avere nelle leaderboards un contatore che indica il numero di gare giocate
- avere la possibilità di vedere i risultati delle leaderboards della precedente stagione come su Splinterlands
Chiusa questa piccola parentesi su alcuni aspetti migliorabili su Moon Karts ti mostro i risultati e le ricompense che ho ricevuto grazie alla mia attività di gioco nell'ultima stagione conclusa su Moon Karts, la stagione 20 che è terminata circa 3 giorni fa.
Oggi sono andato nella sezione Notification per fare il Claim delle ricompense della stagione 20 e per vedere i miei risultati stagionali finali.
Nella stagione 20 i miei risultati finali sono stati:
- 10° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8051 COLONY
- 5° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 2043 COLONY
Nella stagione 20 ho giocato un numero maggiore di gare rispetto alla stagione 19 e i miei risultati di gioco sono migliorati e allo stesso tempo sono migliorate anche le mie ricompense stagionali rispetto alla stagione precedente.
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto per aver giocato nella stagione 20.
Sommando le ricompense delle due leaderboards ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 10094 COLONY = 11.60 SWAP.HIVE = 2.70$
Ho iniziato a monitorare le mie ricompense di gioco su Moon Karts a partire dalla stagione 13 e nelle ultime 8 stagioni (in 80 giorni) ho guadagnato 60952 COLONY = 70.09 SWAP.HIVE = 16.33$
Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato giocando nella stagione 19 e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come SPS stakeholder e GLX stakeholder oggi ho potuto aggiungere +10191.96 COLONY (10094 COLONY + 97.96 COLONY) al mio stake.
Adesso ho 110837.65 COLONY staked.
Nel mio precedente post ho mostrato i casi d'uso dei token COLONY e ho fissato un nuovo obiettivo di accumulo di 500K COLONY staked.

Accumulare 500K COLONY è solo uno dei miei obiettivi su Moon Karts perchè ho anche l'obiettivo di migliorare le statistiche del mio Kart Preset.
Per farlo ho due opzioni:
acquistare singoli NFT dal Market
acquistare CENTAURI packs su Hive Engine
Nei prossimi giorni valuterò anche se mettere in vendita gli NFT che non uso in gioco e che non sono in stake per produrre fuel con l'obiettivo di acquistare NFT/CENTAURI per migliorare il mio Kart Preset.
Oggi ho giocato 4 corse e le mie posizioni sono state:
- 3 secondi posti :(
- 1 primo posto :)
Ho guadagnato in totale 2.72 COLONY e nelle due prossime immagini puoi vedere le mie posizioni nelle classifiche con sole 4 gare giocate quando mancano 7 giorni alla fine della stagione.
Mi piace monitorare il valore di mercato dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o in cui ho investito e concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore di mercato dei token COLONY e dei token SCRIPT.
Nella prossime due immagini puoi vedere le variazioni di valore in HIVE e in dollari registrate dal token COLONY e dal token SCRIPT in un intervallo di tempo di 9 giorni (24 Marzo 2025 - 2 aprile 2025)
