My 2025 Hive Journey: On the Road to 100K HP & April HPUD (ENG/ITA)
Today is March 1, 2025 and for so many months now I have chosen the first day of each month to share my progress, my thoughts about Hive and my participation in the Hive Power Up Day and today I continue with this which I consider a good habit whose purpose to self-motivate me and hopefully also to motivate my readers.
Every first of the month I also look at the graph of the value of the HIVE token and make a comparison with the previous month(s) but having medium to long term growth goals on Hive it is not so much important for me the current value of the HIVE token but the future value because in my opinion HIVE has so much potential and more importantly it is worth much much more than the current market value (this is not a financial advice).
In January HIVE reached a market value above $0.60.
On March 1, 2025 1 HIVE was worth $0.2793.
Today April 1, 2025 1 HIVE is worth $0.2394.
I am not worried about this decrease in value because Hive is a blockchain that has so many utilities and especially because Hive is a living, dynamic and evolving blockchain with a relatively small but very active community!
Also, the month just started will be an important month for Hive because the Soft Launch of the VSC Mainnet announced via a post by @vsc.network is very close.

I am following this project with a lot of interest because Hive does not have smartcontracts and VSC will implement layer 2 smartcontracts on Hive which will allow Hive to be much more attractive especially for web3 project developers.
The development of this project will take place in several phases, and the utilities of the full project will be many even for non-developer users.
For example, VSC will implement (in addition to smart contracts):
- new login options on Hive (EVM wallet, social login, VSC account)
- a WBTC<->HIVE Defi Bridge
- HIVE-HBD liquidity pool
So the project is very interesting and will add new utilities to Hive!
I will follow this project with extreme interest and will also try to write posts and tutorials on user-side features as VSC implements them.

My goals on Hive for the year 2025 and my progress.
Setting a goal is the first step to achieving it!
I am on Hive since March 5, 2019, and I have always set monthly and annual growth goals because Hive is my favorite blockchain platform and I want to increase my weight and influence on Hive.
On Hive there are HIVE tokens and HBD tokens but it is only the staked form of HIVE tokens = Hive Power (HP) that measures the influence of a Hive account.
For this reason, my main goal for 2025 is to increase my Hive Power and I will try to reach an amount of 100K HP by the end of the year.
I shared and set all my annual goals on Hive in the post I published on January 2, 2025: My 2024 Hive Recap + My 2025 Hive Goals!
Today April 1, 2025 is the fourth Hive Power Up day of the year, and I am especially happy to be able to do a Hive Power Up above 1000 HP.
In my previous post I shared my choice to sell 220 HBD in HIVE and then do Power Up.

To sell 220 HBD, I created an offer to buy (Limit Order) using https://hivehub.dev/market/advanced and two days ago I received 919,112 HIVE.
Thanks to the sale of the HBD tokens to which I added all the liquid HIVE I had in my wallet today I was able to make a Hive Power Up of 1029.77 HIVE -> +1029.77 HP.
I now have 83440.72 HP in my Hive Wallet
To monitor my progress toward my annual goal but especially to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I built a table in which:
- I mark at the beginning of each month my monthly Hive Power increments
- I set a goal for the current month that will be bigger or smaller based on my results in the previous month.
I am really very happy with my progress related to my Hive Power that I achieved in the month of March because:
- I increased my Hive Power by +3787.13 HP (February: +2626.44 HP)
- I reached and exceeded my monthly goal which was 2034.64 HP.
I still need to accumulate 16559.27 HP in 9 months and if I maintain a good level of consistency in publishing content and a good level of interaction in the coming months I may reach my annual goal even earlier than expected.
In 2025 I would like to:
- Publish at least 300 posts (in 2024 I published 281 posts).
- Maintain a Comments/Posts ratio > 20 = Write at least 20 comments for each of my posts.
I chose this goal because:
- consistency in publishing is one of the important factors in growing on Hive.
- interaction is a very important element on Hive
During the month of March, I wrote 467 comments and published 25 posts.
This month I will try to write more comments because last month my Comments/Posts ratio was 18.68 while my goal is to exceed a value of 20 on an annual basis.
Another goal I want to achieve in 2025 is to consistently maintain my non-delegate Hive Power always above 75% of my total HP.
My motivation for choosing this goal is simple: Why should other authors support me if I do not support other authors?
I often see active authors on Hive who delegate 90%-100% of their HP and in my opinion make a mistake that is counterproductive for them in the medium to long term because they lose the opportunity to build connections and build a future support base...
In March, I increased the percentage of my non-delegated HP: 83.33% -> 85.59%
The other goals I set at the beginning of the year that I would like to achieve in 2025 are:
Try to enter the top 200 of the Hivers with the most HP.
On March 1, I was in 223rd place while today I am in 218th place. I have moved up 5 places but still have 18 places to go.
Support at least 80 different authors on a weekly basis
In the past 7 days, I have distributed 330 upvotes to 98 different accounts
Participate in all Hive Power Up Days in 2025.
I haven't missed a HPUD since August 2022

Il Mio Viaggio su Hive nel 2025: Sulla Strada per 100K HP e la Mia Partecipazione al HPUD di aprile
Oggi è il 1 aprile 2025 ed è da tanti mesi che dedico il primo giorno di ogni mese per condividere i miei progressi, le mie considerazioni su Hive e la mia partecipazione al Hive Power Up Day e anche oggi continuo con questa che considero una buona abitudine per automotivarmi e spero anche per motivare i miei lettori.
Ogni primo del mese guardo anche il grafico del valore del token HIVE e faccio un confronto con il mese o i mesi precedenti ma avendo obiettivi di crescita di medio-lungo termine su Hive non è tanto importante per me il valore attuale del token HIVE ma quello futuro perchè secondo me HIVE ha tanto potenziale e soprattutto vale molto molto di più del valore di mercato attuale (non è un consiglio finanziario).
Nel mese di gennaio HIVE ha raggiunto un valore di mercato superiore a 0.60$.
Il 1 marzo 2025 1 HIVE valeva 0.2793$.
Oggi 1 aprile 2025 1 HIVE vale 0.2394$.
Non sono preoccupato per questa diminuzione di valore perchè Hive è una blockchain che ha tante utilità e soprattutto perchè Hive è una blockchain viva, dinamica e in evoluzione con una comunità relativamente piccola ma molto attiva!
Inoltre il mese appena iniziato sarà un mese importante per Hive perchè è molto vicino il Soft Launch della VSC Mainnet annunciato tramite un post da @vsc.network.

Seguo con molto interesse questo progetto perchè Hive non ha smartcontracts e VSC implementerà su Hive gli smartcontracts di livello 2 che permetteranno ad Hive di essere molto più attrattiva rispetto ad oggi soprattutto per gli sviluppatori di progetti decentralizzati.
Lo sviluppo di questo progetto avverrà in più fasi ma le utilità del progetto completo saranno molte anche per gli utenti non sviluppatori.
Ad esempio VSC implementerà:
- nuove opzioni di login su Hive (EVM wallet, social login, VSC account) aumentando la
- un Defi Bridge WBTC<->HIVE
- HIVE-HBD liquidity pool
Quindi il progetto è molto interessante e aggiungerà nuove utilità ad Hive!
Seguirò con estremo interesse questo progetto e cercherò anche di scrivere post e tutorial sulle funzionalità lato user man mano che VSC le implementerà.

I miei obiettivi su Hive per l'anno 2025 e i miei progressi
Fissare un obiettivo è il primo passo per raggiungerlo!
Sono su Hive dal 5 marzo 2019 e ho sempre fissato obiettivi di crescita mensili e annuali perchè Hive è la mia piattaforma blockchain preferita e perchè voglio aumentare il mio peso e la mia influenza su Hive.
Su Hive ci sono i token HIVE e i token HBD ma è solo la forma staked dei token HIVE = Hive Power (HP) che misura l'influenza di un Hive account.
Per questo motivo il mio obiettivo principale per il 2025 è aumentare il mio Hive Power e cercherò di raggiungere un quantitativo di 100K HP entro la fine dell'anno.
Ho condiviso e fissato tutti i miei obiettivi annuali su Hive nel post che ho pubblicato il 2 gennaio 2025: My 2024 Hive Recap + My 2025 Hive Goals!
Oggi 1 aprile 2025 è il quarto Hive Power Up day dell'anno e sono particolarmente contento di poter fare un Hive Power Up superiore a 1000 HP.
Nel mio precedente post ho condiviso la scelta di vendere 220 HBD in HIVE per poi fare Power Up.

Per vendere 220 HBD ho creato un offerta di acquisto (Limit Order) utilizzando https://hivehub.dev/market/advanced e due giorni fa ho ricevuto 919.112 HIVE.
Grazie alla vendita dei token HBD a cui ho aggiunto tutti gli HIVE liquidi che avevo nel mio wallet oggi ho potuto fare un Hive Power Up di 1029.77 HIVE -> +1029.77 HP.

Per monitorare i miei progressi verso il mio obiettivo annuale ma soprattutto per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese ho costruito una tabella in cui:
- segno ad ogni inizio mese i miei incrementi mensili di Hive Power
- fisso un obiettivo mensile che sarà più grande o più piccolo in base ai miei risultati nel mese precedente.
Sono davvero molto contento dei miei progressi relativi al mio Hive Power che ho ottenuto nel mese di marzo perchè:
- ho aumentato il mio Hive Power di +3787.13 HP (Febbraio: +2626.44 HP)
- ho raggiunto e superato il mio obiettivo mensile che era di 2034.64 HP
Devo accumulare ancora 16559.27 HP in 9 mesi e se mantengo un buon livello di consistenza nella pubblicazione di contenuti e un buon livello di interazione nei prossimi mesi potrei raggiungere il mio obiettivo annuale anche prima del previsto.
A inizio anno ho fissato anche altri obiettivi che mi piacerebbe raggiungere prima della fine del 2025.
Nel 2025 mi piacerebbe:
- Pubblicare almeno 300 post (nel 2024 ho pubblicato 281 post).
- Mantenere un rapporto Comments/Posts > 20 = Scrivere almeno 20 commenti per ogni mio post
Ho scelto questi obiettivi perchè:
- la consistenza nella pubblicazione è uno dei fattori importanti per crescere su Hive.
- l'interazione è un elemento molto importante su Hive
Durante il mese di marzo ho scritto 467 commenti e ho pubblicato 25 post.
In questo mese cercherò di scrivere più commenti perchè il mese scorso il mio rapporto Comments/Posts è stato di 18.68 mentre il mio obiettivo è superare un valore di 20 su base annuale.
Un altro obiettivo che voglio raggiungere nel 2025 è mantenere costantemente il mio Hive Power non delegato sempre sopra al 75% del mio HP totale.
La motivazione per cui ho scelto questo obiettivo è semplice: Perchè gli altri autori dovrebbero supportarmi se io non supporto gli altri autori?
Spesso vedo autori attivi su Hive che delegano il 90%-100% del proprio HP e secondo me fanno un errore controproducente per loro nel medio-lungo periodo perchè perdono la possibilità di costruire connessioni e di costruire una base di supporto futuro...
Nel mese di marzo ho aumentato la percentuale del mio HP non delegato: 83.33% -> 85.59%
Gli altri obiettivi che ho fissato ad inizio anno e che mi piacerebbe raggiungere nel 2025 sono:
- Provare ad entrare nella top 200 degli Hivers con più HP
Il primo marzo ero al 223° posto mentre oggi sono al 218° posto. Sono salito di 5 posizioni ma ho ancora 18 posizioni da superare.
- Supportare almeno 80 autori diversi su base settimanale
Negli ultimi 7 giorni ho distribuito 330 upvotes a 98 accounts diversi
- Partecipare a tutti gli Hive Power Up Days del 2025
