With the recent news that LeoShorts/Reels (short video clips embedded into threads) has proven more difficult to implement on LeoThreads than anticipated, here's a workaround that you can use to embed your 3Speak Shorts into your threads RIGHT NOW, while we're waiting for this much anticipated feature.
NOTE! To be able to follow this tutorial, you need to have an INLEO premium subscription.
How it will look
Here's a thread containing a 3Short video that I posted by following the steps below.

How to post 3Shorts on Threads
- Create a new HIVE account
- Upload your short to 3speak.tv and decline rewards*
- Paste the embed code of your 3Short into your thread.
*By declining rewards and posting to an account with no followers, you're bothering noone! Now you can go ahead and put that video clip into any context you like, like in a thread.
Optional step: Discourage follows
Consider putting a notice in the newly created account's bio that discourages following that account. Something like
The content posted to this account will always decline payout and will be re-posted in proper context in my main account. Please follow my main account (@insertaccounthere) instead of this one.
Bonus use-case: Post regular videos in INLEO Longforms
This method can actually also be used to post your regular 3Speak videos on INLEO so you don't lose out on those $LEO rewards, and not to mention those evergreen ad revenue rewards.
